I don't know much about alterations but the work seems good and was on time. The shop is deceiving because of all the mirrors. It's not as large as it seems. Today I went to this place to get my 5 dress hemmed. The lady in the front was very nice. She told me it will be done within this week, since I wasn't in a rush, it was perfect. She called me and told me it is done. and it only been 2 days! They are very hard working, sweet, and deserve better. I had a nice 3 minute conversation with the lady in the front and she's pretty nice, despite all of the comments. Will definitely recommend to my friends and families! read more

RIP OFF Dropped off 7 items. Had to argue with the rude woman that owns the store multiple times. Had to argue with her when I dropped off all my items. And then again when I came to pick up. Thank god I tried on my things. 2 pairs of pants weren't fixed. A pair of pants was completely ignored and given back to me with the original tear in the leg. Then actually a pair of shorts was further ripped in a new place where it wasn't when it was dropped off. She told me she didn't agree to fix the top. Only agreed to fix one rip on a different pocket. I then had to pay extra to have the new rip fixed that they caused. read more

What a funny experience... So I've had this hole in my suit pants around my left pocket that kept bugging me. Every time I thought about the hole I'd go messing with it so today I had to get it fixed. I walked in and this sweet lady was sitting there working on a piece of garment. Since I had nothing in hand she looked at me like I was a soliciting. I showed her my pants and asked if she can fix it right away because it was bothering me so much. She gave me a crazy look... I saw a dressing room and told her that I'll wait in there if she had the time and she politely told me to give me my pants. So I stood inside the dressing room with a shirt and tie and dress socks while she sewed away. It was a very awkward five minutes for me but my suit is now back in action! She charged me $5 for the work and requested I pay cash. Since I didn't have any on me I gave her my check card and she charged me an extra dollar. No big deal... I was just so happy to get rid of that stupid hole!!! read more

Probably one of the most unprofessional businesses I've dealt with. They give you a slip with your name and phone number, and an estimate day as to when your item will be ready. My item happened to be my maid of honor dress. When I went to get my dress, I had no idea it was cash only (luckily I happen to have cash that day). When I got home, I checked over my dress and realized something I had not realized there. My dress was DIRTY. The dress I am supposed to wear in 8 days is filthy. Of course, I paid cash, there is no proof she did this so I had to go and pay MORE for dry cleaning. Trust me when I say there are other options. Dropped off a prom dress to have 2 straps shortened and just the front of the dress hemmed. She quoted me at $120. I needed it done in 6 days so assumed it was more for a rush job. Asked the lady many times that she would have the dress ready by 4pm on Thursday as prom is on Friday. She assured me it would be done. We live an hour away. Get there on Thursday after 4pm and she hasn't even started!! Says just go get something to eat and come back in 2 hours. Explained that I have to go to work and can't wait that long. She finally gets my dress done 3 hours later and it is a terrible job, didn't even cut the fabric just doubled it up at the end. And some of the sequences on the dress is messed up. On a $500 dress. We did not drop it off in that condition. Whatever you do, do not drop off any clothing as it will not come back in the condition. read more

I would highly recommend you STAY AWAY from this tailor shop. I was very disappointed with my experience. I took a bridesmaid dress to be tailored. When I walked into the store, I almost walked right out because it was FILTHY. There was dirt and clutter EVERYWHERE and I even saw wedding dresses dragging on the disgusting floor. The woman was also INCREDIBLE rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to help me. Someone had recommended this shop to me, so I decided to give them a shot with the bridesmaid dress. The woman/owner told me it would take nearly 3 weeks to get the dress even though it was a very minor alteration. When I went back on the designated day, I was again met with rudeness. The woman scoffed when I asked to try it on to make sure the alterations were done correctly. Then the woman refused to accept my personal check because it had an out of state address since I had just moved a few months ago. She also refused credit cards. There was no sign and no mention of this policy prior to me attempting to pay upon pick up. Still, the thing that bothered me the most was the way the woman/owner behaved. She was rude every time I encountered her and she was also quite condescending when she answered the phone to speak to another customer while I was waiting to pay. The work was ok, but it was a simple alteration. The horrible customer service and filthy environment is enough to make sure I NEVER DO BUSINESS with Top Tailor again. read more

Go and try on and then let her pin you in front of the big mirror. Enjoy the Asian beats while you are there...I was totally rockin' it out one day in the dressing room--LOL. You can depend on them for great seamless work. This is my go-to place for jeans and my best dresses. I see plenty of men bringing in suits too. They will get the work done quickly and when you come to pick it up, try it on--she wants to make sure it really fits you--don't you? They take checks and cash, no credit cards. Half up front typically. Go shop around Hilltop and then stop in with all your goodies that need a little tailoring. When I took my dresses in to be shortened I knew I was not going to get what I wanted because the woman working kept telling me how it should be instead of listening to what I wanted but out of necessity I left items anyway. They charged a reasonable amount of 20.00$ a dress making it a total of $40.00. They asked for a deposit of $20.00 which I left ( I specifically remember because she sprayed my 20.00 with disinfectant). Then when I went to pick up they still claimed I owed the $40.00. I told them I did not but the person who helped me the first time was not there. After a few minutes of trying to get them to call the lady that took my money I put the additional money down and left. read more

Then they finished it in "2hours" and we tried it on the tailors had done nothing but cashed the check and made a hole the size of a quarter in the butt area of my daughters 360$ dress. I too would say there are other choices. Used them for years. Had good and less than satisfactory results. Usually just hemming. Would never consider her a professional tailor! Brought a leather Navy flight jacket and patches here based on a recommendation from the local Harley Davidson dealer; the ladies working here also assured me they had experience sewing patches on to the jackets. They ruined $85 worth of patches with pins driven through them and substantial scuffing, and the stitching is not straight along the patch edges. Also refused to give me a refund after I inspected the work and lied to my face that the patches were "like that when I brought them in" (they were brand new and still in their original plastic packaging). The work was so bad it made me sign up for Yelp. The only positive thing that I can say about them is that they didn't lose my stuff. Please do yourself a favor and go someplace else. The owner and her staff were very friendly and more than willing to accommodate my last minute request. They provided quality work at an affordable price.
