the management is in need of training, both in technical haircut skill(to maintain her level of…read morequality service) and effective communication(to retain customer's respect of the brand) i walked in, was seated at a poorly cleaned and sanitized station(their implements/combs, capes, clipper gaurds would fail a state board of cosmetology inspection) her "consultation"(to which she later emphasized the importance of to, i assumed, a new stylist) was rushed and ignorant she cut one side too short, then kept cutting until i pulled my cape off and ended the haircut at this point, she became defensive and irrational to the point of blowing a situation in which we could have helped one other and understood humans are allowed to make mistakes, into an attempt to kick me out of the salon before running away to the dispensary herself(leaving the younger stylist alone to sit and watch and learn poor behaviors that again, worth unnecessary as my frustrations were with the situation(SEPARATE FROM HER AS A PERSON) i am allowed to be upset when mistakes are made and when those mistakes negatively impact my body to the stylist/manager, it was never personal. i have ten years of experience in the same career field and got my start at the smartstyles in my home town. i have firsthand experience and emphasized with you more than everything. the conditions you are working in are appalling and egregious. regis/smartstyles should be providing better for you. that was the point i wanted to get across as you were speaking over me. its hair. yes, again, im allowed to be frustrated and upset. but, i can understand and emphasize with you. you matter, as a stylist, a woman, and a person. please, just know that you are seen.

My son has about 86 cow licks on his head and Jamayla (probably spelled wrong) fixed it without breaking a sweat! My daughter has a double crown and three cowlicks (isn't it awesome lol) and she also fixed HER hair. Now both my children have hairstyles that have gotten even better as they grow out. So I decided to give it a try. I have an undercut, shoulder length hair that I am growing out from the last time I colored it with Henna. So I have a 2-3 inch strip of roots that are my natural color (blonde) and the rest is fifty shades of red/brown.... My hair was a hot mess. Jamayla fixed it! She trimmed it up without hacking it all off, she softened the look of the undercut, she curled my hair for my anniversary date with the Husband, and she made me feel like my roots showing are going to be the next cool trend.
