We looked at Bright Horizons because we had a number of friends with children at different facilities that all raved about it. So it was on our list when we started looking into daycares when I was pregnant with our first child. We toured the Tufts Medical Center location because it was close to where we lived and worked. The staff here were wonderful in setting up our tour, showing us around, and communicating about all the different aspects since we definitely had A LOT of questions. (I was amazed at how many other daycares that we researched were awful at communication. I would email and leave voicemails to get information only to have nobody respond to me. It definitely didn't give me a great feeling about leaving my child there.) I just got a great feeling about this center from everything we saw and our experiences in working with them over the past few months to figure everything out. What I liked about this center: Great communication with staff whether it was over phone/email, super clean and bright, loved the programming they follow, great location downtown by the T, open door policy (you can drop in at any time to visit your little one which is great if you're breastfeeding or just want to say hi), and extra things to make a busy working parent's life easier like stroller/car seat storage, loading zone, etc.
