I used to visit , from 2016/2017 to 2018…read more Good $5 (or more) foods. Bought 2 tix (a total of $70) for a bus ride (the other tix was for my bag, but I was willing to put my bag on my lap when a lady asked to sit next to me) ; I was one of the very first on the spot : the same lady asked me to sit under a broken aircon outlet (brrrr) , right above the wheel (nauseatingly bumpy) ; she and her companion (both showed up the latest) somehow convinced the volunteer to place me at her original seat. I do not speak Cantonese. Bought the $50 noodle combo for 2 : lack flavour, tiny portions, amazing decor/table/chairs.

It's a prime location within the GTA so it's relatively easy to get to and good for people who want to pray and meditate. They also have a large dining hall in the lower level. You purchase a lunch box meal ticket first ($15/box) and then head into the hall to receive your meal. We came around 12:30pm for lunch but most of the food was already served but still enough to enjoy a vegetarian meal. Our meal included white rice and three vegetables, though it tasted large and portion was reasonable, it didn't fully match the photo of what I thought I was getting. Regardless the meal was filling and well seasoned and you can get a soup as well. Theres a few long tables and you can pull out the plastic stools from under the tables to sit. Dropping one star only because I saw a large earwig like insect moving inside the table throughout the meal which made me a hesitate for a bit.
