This is the place you want to be buying your flowers from. As a person who now realizes how much…read moreflowers cost, I refuse to buy from supermarkets where there's no one really concerned with freshness. We're talking about sitting flowers in dirty water. The difference is flowers that last 3 days versus 7 to 10 days, for a 10% difference in cost. Here's the scoop on what I've gathered so far. A friend of mine told me about "Sara Flowers". Basically, she's the go to person in Toronto for flowers. If you're looking for someone who knows their stuff and has talent and is still affordable despite the hype. When I visited, I chatted with her and she's done stuff like Rob Ford funeral, stores like LV, restos like Kasa Motto, Chase, etc. I went in and basically said do what you think is right, after giving her some general instructions, and watching her work, she really is brilliant. In terms of the actual store itself, I was really impressed at the stuff they're carrying. There's a large retail front selling house items, and gift items. Very cool stuff actually. The card section is excellent. Hilarious actually. Everyone's got succulents, but these guys also carry coral cactus (the only store in Toronto I've seen so far). They also carry Parkhill Candles (really hard to find, but excellent) and at a cheaper price than I paid in the U.S. Other cool things as well if you're looking for gift ideas. Overall, this place is worth the drive for me. Flowers are expensive, but at least I don't feel ripped off here. I feel like i'm getting my money's worth here. p.s Tip - there are Yelp check in discounts available.

They texted me a photo of the choices, and I received a thank-you note about an hour later. Just one reason I'll keep going back to this lovely local business instead ir ordering flowers from some anonymous online source!

What a dream wedding vendor!!…read more Working with Beckee from Paper & Poste for my recent wedding was such a blast. Not only is she super friendly, professional, and talented, she is so much fun - my appointments felt more like chatting with a friend than a supplier! Paper & Poste is affiliated with The Paper Place on Queen, so it was an easy choice when looking for wedding stationary. They do a wonderful job and their work is regularly featured in wedding magazines - because they are the best! While they certainly aren't the least expensive option in the city, I found the prices reasonable and I was comfortable with them. They designed and created our save the date, thank you cards, invitation, menus, favour tags, escort cards, programs, AND some signage, and it was all beautiful and kept a consistent feeling throughout my wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend Paper & Poste for all your stationary needs!!

This is clearly the best place for invitations and paper that you can find. We had them do our…read moreentire wedding and they did such a fantastic job. The invites were so good that everyone had a compliment. The process was incredible - we were late to get them out and they rushed and got them to our guests on time. The girl was very professional, clearly very good at her job, and was quick and to the point - not wasting our time (and we didn't have a lot) and getting the job right the first time. Also, she didn't try to up sell us on things that we didn't need and the quote was very reasonable. I wholly recommend this place to anyone who needs print, especially for a wedding.
