Great location since it is just across from the Kennedy Subway Station and has ample parking.. The branch though is quite small but is quite sizable for a library that is inside a plaza. Limited collection of books... good to just chill and use their Wifi if you are in the area. Not too many quiet area due to its size... you won't find me napping here! :)

Interesting and nice exterior compare to a few of the brick boxed looking ones I been too!! High ceiling and huge windows letting the sunshine filtered in and has great air circulations! Every communal tables has enough electric outlets to plug in whatever little gadgets you have.... and of course Wifi access!! And if you want to just chill out, armchairs are arranged in front of those huge floor to ceiling windows where quite a few people were napping. The only complaints maybe their hours!! They are closed on Mondays?!!!! Is this the result of one of those City cutbacks?

The history of this Toronto Public Library branch has gone through a few location and name changes…read moresince the formal opening in January 1956.  Back then, it was part of the Borough of Scarborough and was named the Golden Mile Branch. Fast forward to April 1983, it relocated to the new wing & present location in the Eglinton Square Shopping Centre just off the food court.  A facility expansion took place between 2016/2017. Community patrons can now enjoy seating for 115 (pre-pandemic), 2 quiet study rooms, 2 meeting rooms for lectures or classroom configuration based on booking needs, 11 workstations with internet, WiFi, and scanning/copying/printing services. Persons with disabilities have access to special equipment including computer with screen magnification software, large print keyboard, large trackball mouse, magnifier, page turner, book stand, and wheelchair accessible furniture.  This is great as many of us take this part of life for granted. Parking is free.  TTC bus service, including the soon to be completed Line 5 Eglinton Crosstown  is close by. Never stop learning!

Perfect time to come is when it opens at 9am before the rest of the stores open and the mall gets busy. Tons of comfy seating and tables. "Quiet rooms" where you can shut the door and even pull the blinds for privacy: no cell phone use allowed. Nine computer's in the adult section, two in the children's and two express check out stations by the entrance. Lots of outlets everywhere and free WiFi. I like that the bookshelves are short so that you can find your companion anywhere in the main room. Clever filing drawers that hold the dvds so that you don't have to hold your head at a very sharp angle to read the titles. Friendly and helpful staff that are willing to show you the ropes. They offer free Museum Arts Passes to the following attractions: AGO - Art Gallery of Aga Khan Museum City of Toronto Historic Sites Colborne Lodge in High Park Fort York National Historic Site Gibson House Museum Mackenzie House Montgomery's Inn Scarborough Museum Spadina Museum: Historic House & Gardens Todmorden Mills Heritage Site Textile Museum of Canada Since it is in a typical shopping center, you can also pick up prescriptions, groceries, a new wardrobe, alterations, coffee, bubble tea, lunch, and the list goes on: a multitasker's dream.

You can get here using public transit or metered street parking is available on Borough Drive beside the library. I was here for that grand opening and took a tour of the facilities. This is my first trip back. It's a very nice modern facility with a view to the outside from pretty well anywhere inside. There is plenty of seating based on what you want to do while you're here. If you need to plug in your electrical device (e.g. cellphone, tablet), power outlets are available. Free WiFi access is available at all library branches. Enjoy this public space but be respectful of others too!

The design itself does have all the characteristic of the era it was built: Brutalist architecture. Characteristic of linear, fortress like and blockish, often with a predominance of concrete construction. The inside though is well maintained and not as cold. Albert Campbell is a few of the libraries I been to in the area has the sense of being in the library... quietness, people studying and no toddlers running around or screaming.. The place though is pretty packed for an early afternoon. If you want to use one of the computers, you might need to reserve one on line! Plenty of parking!

I used to go to this library a lot when I was a kid. There was a huge children's section, and now…read morethat it's been renovated (around ten years ago), pretty much the whole lower level is for kids. The upper floor has a large teen section, computers in the middle, adult fiction and non-fiction sections, and a fairly large CD and DVD (TV shows and movies) section, with plenty of seating throughout. I had visited on a weekday around noon. The teenagers from the high school across the street must've been on lunch break since there were so many of them around.

Why 5 Star?! A library that good?! - Exterior architecturally pleasing to look at - Interior Modern and chic like a boutique hotel lobby - Tons of windows with natural sunlight - Airy and Spacious interior - Comfortable chairs to chill or to take a nap - Electric outlets!! Even have that incorporate into the coffee tables - Great collections of all ethnic books - Free WIFI Even a TV showing CP24 in the casual reading area!! It's the nicest library I've been in for children, and it's pretty solid for adults. I do like branches in which the children section is completely separate from the rest of the library. This area has a few schools and a community center near by so it seem to fine for noise and Im enjoying the view outside while I write this It's a pretty calm day. On the plus side the kids section downstair did look nice and they do have a nice collection definitiy one of the nicer branch I have been to.

Great neighbourhood library as you can access all these city services in one stop! Interior is spacious with high ceiling.. great cottage theme with neutral brown and pine tone... Book collections are small.. but sometimes is good that you can always find the more current reading materials. Quite a few computer terminals that has full access... not too busy in the middle of the afternoon. Separate room for kids or other toddler programs.... you can see them having fun but you cannot hear them scream. Just perfect!

Really?! There's a library there?…read more Victoria Village is one of those neighbours which is hidden inside the residence area and usually the locals would frequent... The exterior doesn't look really promising... just looks tiny and one of those utilitarian box like structure. But at least the interior is quite modern with enough full access computer terminals and clean and neat. The staff here in fact is really nice... smile and greet me when I walked in... Great place to chill out a little... but you probably won't find a lot of interesting books as the collections are small.

There are alot of kids and these branches may have 3 people tops so managing it is tough, The place has about 6 computer, an confortable magizine area to sit and few other stop, oulets are limited and there are no booth or queit areas There is a program room downstairs that can fuction as quieter area to study but if u come in after the kids are out, dont expect queit.
