Skaugum, at the Palace Grill, reminds me of the old hip hop bump and grind clubs that would pop up in the Midwestern US during the late 1990s/early 2000s. The music is from that era (my favorite), and the clientele on the dancefloor are very ready to party.
But again, this place gets REALLY crowded. If you are a guy, put your wallet in your front pocket because there will be more foreign hands exploring your backside than normal here. If you are a girl, make it very clear that you want or don't want to dance. You don't want to handle how guys deal with ambiguity in these types of places.
The bar service is ok, just find a bartender who is busting his ass and get a drink from him.
Skaugum is still on the social map, there are just as many beautiful ladies in line as there are inside - but for good reason. Seriously, this place is crowded, but I don't mind. /cue "Throw them 'bows..."
