I was cringing at the idea of going to the dump to actually pay to have them get rid of all this metal. Then, I learned that I could actually sell it at Apick! The friendly staff weighed our metal and gave us some money for it. Not a lot of money, but some, which is much better than ....the alternative: paying a dump to get rid of it for you (and they would likely just resell it to some scrap metal folks). You would'nt see a red cent. At Apick, we got some cash for our old metal stuff. It helps if, before you go, you sort your offerings into Ferrous vs. Nonferrous. Basically, if it is Ferrous, a magnet will stick to it; however, a magnet does not cling to a non ferrous metal. It is a good idea to perform these tests with a little magnet before you go. Next time you have to clean out your garage or throw away some metal things (like appliances) remember Apick, and grab a magnet from your fridge.

The owner of this store is an absolute bully. Long story short, I was trying to make a left hand…read moreturn onto a street using a shared centre lane. Also to be noted the westney and bayley intersection was shut down so all the traffic was turning around, which was evident with the line up of cars aroundme, AND the line up of other cars behind me waiting to turn left the same as I was. So sir comes up in his big pats rental truck and proceeds to come right up to my bumper, so I could not see around his huge truck at all, not could I go anywhere because he was almost pressed onto my bumper. I guess he expected me to reverse into the other cars behind me so his holyness could make his turn on his terms. After I put my car ( let me reiterate that, SMALL VEHICLE) in park, and took my keys out of the ignition, because I was sandwiched between his truck and the LINE UP OF OTHER CARS BEHIND ME MAKING A LEFT. I guess he realized I wasn't going to be bullied by this very disgusting human being. When I call his company to complain, he called me, and this is a quote here peoole, "a stupid teenage girl" Sir, I'm 27 and your a bully with a bad attitude. I hate to imagine what your like in your private life is this is how you handle yourself under your companies name. Cheers man, hope you can learn how to be a decent human being. I also have it all on video, this man is probably the reason your teenage daughter is afraid to drive.
