The 30 min massage was good, but I really enjoyed the 60 min reflexology foot massage. Unfortunately baby girl didn't come that weekend, so I ended up scheduling another prenatal 30 min massage a couple days later (where I'm also 41+ weeks) to get some work in before my chiro adjustment down the road and WOW...that 30 min massage was seriously the best I ever had during this pregnancy. This time, I had Cindy and she made sure to hit allll the labor points, including my feet, lower back, and even thighs. Ended my session with a yummy head massage too. Felt so good + so refreshed by the end of my session, it was truly a solid 10/10. I also noticed it was a lot easier for my chiro to adjust me, too. Will definitely be back whenever I need a massage, whether it's my whole body or feet and hopefully the labor points worked this time to encourage baby out! Oh, and try to bring cash if you can-- there's a 3% charge if using a card so I made sure to bring cash for my 2nd visit :)

The customers stood up from the chairs (they also had 2 cute dogs with them) as I walked in and shown to my chair. The guy literally straighten the towels and pushed the foot chair! I was thinking of giving them my feedback at check out, but I was turned off by the guy asking me about tip to the staff (which I planned to).

When we arrived, I advised the front desk attendant of my earlier call and the price quote and he confirmed that was correct. We then went to our spa rooms and waited at least 15 minutes before the massage therapists showed up. They then gave us a 1 hour massage, but when we went to the front to pay, a different attendant said we rec'd 75 minute massages and that the cost was $95 each + tax. We advised them we had made it very clear that we were getting 1 hour massaged and that we had confirmed the $75 price beforehand as well as upon our arrival. As we argued with the attendant, we noticed her English skills became progressively worse. We finally paid and left, but have filed a dispute with our credit card company. Apparentently, Magic Spa personnel thing it's fair to "bait and switch" their price quote or that it's fair to charge you for a 15 minute wait before your massage begins. WE WON'T GO BACK AGAIN!

And as a personal trainer I can tell that Melissa has an amazing understanding of the body, so I can be sure that I'm getting just what I need. Often I come to her feeling really tense after a long day of working with clients and sitting at my computer and she knows exactly how to make me feel relaxed, calm, and actually nicely enough a bit taller (which is a big deal for a short girl like me!). I've come to her a dozen or more times and have even sent my husband and a few of my clients there. They all come back to me raving at how amazing she was and how great they feel. They now see her regularly too. The best part about all of it though is Melissa herself. She has an amazing working knowledge of the body, can do many different types of massage, and she really gets to know you and understand what you're looking for. I feel so at ease with her and she makes me feel very cared for. You can tell she loves what she does and truly believes in it, because you're never just a number with her. I never feel rushed and she always takes it one step further by giving me a little tip on my way out the door, like a stretch that I can do to alleviate some of the tension I'm feeling in my neck. Another customer was on her phone the entire time. The space was a busy hallway and there was nothing tranquil about it. Although the massage was average, the masseuse was a complete chatterbox. I wish they would ask if you want to talk or be silent, ask in the appointment questionnaire or profile, or at least follow your lead. Maybe I've been spoiled at other locations, but I won't be going back to this one anytime soon.

She returned and continued for another ten minutes until another customer came in.
