And as a personal trainer I can tell that Melissa has an amazing understanding of the body, so I can be sure that I'm getting just what I need. Often I come to her feeling really tense after a long day of working with clients and sitting at my computer and she knows exactly how to make me feel relaxed, calm, and actually nicely enough a bit taller (which is a big deal for a short girl like me!). I've come to her a dozen or more times and have even sent my husband and a few of my clients there. They all come back to me raving at how amazing she was and how great they feel. They now see her regularly too. The best part about all of it though is Melissa herself. She has an amazing working knowledge of the body, can do many different types of massage, and she really gets to know you and understand what you're looking for. I feel so at ease with her and she makes me feel very cared for. You can tell she loves what she does and truly believes in it, because you're never just a number with her. I saw a chariopractor first, but with no good luck. I contacted her by text and within an hour, she replied with the availability in her schedule. When I saw her, she great me with the warm smile. After short interview, I was directed to the massage room which is the best room ever I have been to. The bed is so comfortable and warm. She took her time to assess and massage each area. I never left either chiropractor office or massage when I have this issue and my shoulder will be level except this time. She taught me couple of exercises to do to prevent the recurrence of this issue and so far thing are going well. I requested firm pressure as I like my knots to be worked out, but I don't like "deep" as in my Massage hurting. I loved her technique and she has very strong hands, so it was a fabulous combination. I also loved the lotion she used for the massage, moisturizing but not oily and not scented. I am scent sensitive so that means a lot to me, otherwise a migraine may get triggered. It was easy to book an appt, you can do it online, call, or text the number listed. The office was very clean and nicely put together. I especially loved that the "papertowel" roll in the bathroom was made from washcloths/towels that could be washed and reused. Kristy was great to interact with, very thoughtful and we had a nice chat while I was waiting for my ride. She also did a very thorough clean of the massage space after my session, which I appreciated knowing that was done prior to my session as well. I get a lot of massages. Pre-COVID-19 I would say I was averaging a couple a month and I believe Kristy is very talented and if I lived in the area I would be making weekly appointments!
