The tech that came out wasn't prepared for the job and needed to borrow my shop vac. To me, if I'm paying you close to $400 to clean my AC motor, come with your own tools and equipment. It's not professional to ask customers to provide their own for the company's use. I called the office to complain, and the manager was rude AF. He said he wasn't sure why the tech didn't have a shop vac, but the tech said he was never provided one. (So whenever you read this, please buy your employees the tools they need to do their jobs) I let the tech use my shop vac anyway, he finished cleaning the AC, and left the remainder of the work for the next day because materials were late. Stephen, the tech that actually did the remainder of the work was courteous and professional. Not sure sure I would use this company again. Seems like the owners or managers don't care about their employees or what kind of business they're running.

His workers were able to use the casing, however the wheel had a small flaw and a small humming noise that I could only heat back in my master bathroom. I reached out again to Marvin's and once the replacement came in, they were right on top of replacement and now no hum and my son states his room has a much better air flow! We also had a HALO unit installed to help prevent bacteria growth! For a house built in 1969, she feels much better!

Carl did show us the courtesy of showing up to court and sharing his "story". Fortunately, Southeast Heating & Air Conditioning and its Owner Carl Roger's was found LIABLE of all the damages he caused to our home and was ordered to pay the remaining balance of the repairs completed. Despite an official judgement from the court ordering Carl to reimburse us for all repairs, judicial interest, and court courts - as of May 18th, 2024 we have STILL heard nothing from him, his company and have received NO payment. Let this be a reminder to ALWAYS vet all contractors before having any work done on your home. Ask for insurance and license information UPFRONT. I hope that something like this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. ***************************** Original Review 2023 I have been holding off on writing this review due to pending litigation but have been given the all-clear. Although Carl of Southeast AC may have once been a reputable contractor, that time as passed. He installed a brand new unit to our home June 2022. One year later he personally completed our annual inspection & maintenance in May of 2023. In August of this year, just weeks after his inspection/maintenance, water started pouring out of our ceiling due to a faulty float switch, broken drip pan, AND clogged lines. Carl apologized for missing these errors during his prior inspection and offered to paint over the damage to our wall. His painter came out who found significant MOLD DAMAGE and recommended the whole ceiling and wall be replaced. Carl gave us a deposit and the go-ahead to have a contractor begin the necessary repairs. Once the repairs were completed, Carl ghosted us and refused to pay the remaining balance. He installed faulty equipment, performed negligent maintenance, and then refused to pay for the extensive damage to our home. He lacks professionalism in all our communications and blatantly lied to cover up his error. He is only concerned with his pockets and not the quality of work or his customers. If you have had equipment installed by this man, PLEASE have another person inspect it. DO NOT trust Southeast Heating and Air to uphold any quality or standard. (It's cheap for a reason)

I got a text with response updates. The plumbers called at 11:30 and said they could swing by and fix it now (earlier than expected), if I had time right now. I agreed and they came. Poor guys had to bail out about 5-6 -- 5 gallon buckets of muddy water to get to the problem. They worked through the rain that started and got it fixed. It was disheartening to see them wallow in the mud and getting wet at the end, but they diligently got it completed, regardless of the wet obstacles. They even came the next day and double checked that it was fixed properly, because the rain was filling the hole at the end and it was fixed but not truly visible in the murky puddle the rain was making. I would recommend this company to anyone and I thank their employee Jonathan for a job well done. Thanks guys, it was very professionally completed to my satisfaction.

Finally, RAM Air offers a product called the Golden System, which is where customers pre-pay for 2 service calls a year. This is so worth the money. RAM calls me twice a year to schedule this maintenance, and whenever I have needed small repairs, such as a replacement thermostat, I paid nothing extra.
