Nonetheless, I was shopping around for a good tax professional and came across Tax Pro Plus. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing from the beginning. I called several times trying to get some information and discuss my tax situation, but I was repeatedly placed on hold and, on some occasions, the call was simply disconnected. After finally getting through to someone, I was told that I needed to file an extension. What concerned me was that this was in early February, and I was confused as to why an extension was already being recommended at that point without first taking the time to properly understand my situation. As someone who was actively looking for a reliable tax professional, I expected better communication, professionalism, and customer service. Instead, I felt like I was being rushed through the process and that my questions and concerns weren't being taken seriously. Filing taxes is something people need to feel confident about, and the first impression matters. Unfortunately, my experience with Tax Pro Plus did not give me that confidence.
