Al worked with us several months before the reception to iron out details and get to know us over cocktails. His outgoing personality eased my concerns and I almost instantly felt comfortable giving him the reins on our dance party. Al is equipped with all the music and lighting you would need to enhance your dance floor (ours was in our garage as we had a backyard reception). On the day of, Al went above and beyond to help us keep to our timeline. He checked in with us and our families as we were busy mingling with guests, but in a way that was not intrusive. When my dessert donuts didn't fit the pegs on my MOH's donut wall, Al stepped right in to help us organize donut boxes. We didn't ask him to do this, it was simply out of the kindness of his heart. I would have Alan DJ our event again in a heartbeat. I was so impressed with how he continually kept the energy up on our dance floor (my legs were jello the next day!) and our guests expressed similar sentiments. You won't be sorry!

I always feel called to support small businesses and felt the creativity from the exterior mural to the floral arrangements outside. The interior offers boutique items such as dresses, sleep wear, body products, cards, chocolate and even some small furniture. I felt the pricing was fair and the cashier and I shared the same name, Tiffany. The floral arrangement they sent was beautiful however it wasn't even close to what the picture was it was supposed to have been very dark burgundy's and blues I asked them for a touch of white when in reality the arrangement was 60% White no dark Rich blue and very little dark rich burgundy. It was a beautiful arrangement though and I understand flower shops don't always have on hand what the picture is. The only other thing is that she said she would send me a picture so I can see the arrangement but she did not. I would use them again though

I was tasked with something I have never done before and Majestic was a really good company to deal…read morewith. They told me what I should and could order for my event and they knew I was watching my expenses. As my event grew, they allowed me to call numerous times to check and see if I was correct in my planning. We then ordered a bigger tent as they suggested. It was perfect. I found them to be accurate, and prompt. They created a beautiful tent on my property and 60 people attended. We did not require heaters but we did keep the sides down on the tent. It was 60 degrees. We ordered Italian lights, a dance floor, round tables and banquet tables. I bought my own linens. I borrowed IKEA panels and hung those to make it prettier. The only thing I didn't like was when they took the tent down and I no longer had it on my property. Good memories!

KROC is a radio station in Rochester, MN. The AM band offers news and talk shows, similar to…read moreNEWSTALK 1010 in Toronto or CJOB in Winnipeg. The FM band is what my review focuses on. KROC 106.9 plays music, with entertainment, weather, and news highlights scattered throughout the day. It's top 40 music. It's a cross between the relaxed tone of CHUM 104.5 and the music vibes of KISS 92.5 in Toronto. When I moved to Rochester years ago, I basically brought a suitcase of essentials and me on a plane. I then furnished my apartment by gradually getting items as I went along. One of the first items that I bought was a clock radio. I still have it to this day and it works. I find that whenever I am in a new city, I turn on the radio to listen to what's happening locally. I liked what I heard on KROC and it became my radio station for two years as a Rochester resident. I tuned into the morning show before I headed into work every weekday. Back then, the morning show consisted of Tracy McCray and James Rabe. Both have since left and have moved to another FM station in Rochester. Small world! KROC is located in downtown Rochester. The building is unassuming. It's beige with small KROC letters on it. It's not like some of the neon signs that we see in Toronto for radio stations screaming out their call letters. Rochester is significantly smaller in population than Toronto, but is still deemed a city. Hey, whatever works is good. It has been around since the 1960's. I liked the music. I got into Lifehouse, the band, thanks to this station, and more. I also learned what community activities were going on, which helped me figure things out as a resident. Luckily, streaming radio stations around the world can be easily done these days. I tend to tune in through a browser, but the station has an app that you can download, too. I'll occasionally check out what's happening on KROC, especially when I need my fix hearing a Minnesotan accent or two. (31)
