Terrible Customer Service at a visit yesterday. The guy that helped me with the wine was friendly, but then he got sidetracked so he called another guy who came over and used the F word to the other guy (and then told him that he was just kidding). Then when I told him exactly what tequila I wanted, he said I should not buy that because of political reasons. He was insistent that I shouldn't buy it and kept repeating "I wouldn't buy it". Now this place is hella dope! I'm visiting some family and wanted to grab a case of my favorite beer that I can't get where I currently live. I searched the beer maker's website and they led me to this location. I was not expecting such a diverse and awesome selection. This place was poppin' straight from the get-go. It was very clean and organized with clear signs suggesting what was in each area (which definitely prevented you from getting overwhelmed with all their selections). I found my beer on the quicks, but my wife who was FaceTiming was telling me she wanted "a cider that wasn't too sweet". The selection is huge. I already had a vodka in my hand when an employee gave me some info about a vodka that was severely discounted due to the distillery being sold to another company in Poland. I live in LA and the TW&M are nice here but the El Paso store is really nice. Friendly staff, everything was easy to find and if you couldn't find it they were eager to assist. I was going to be driving through El Paso and noticed they had a couple of bottles that I can't get in LA. I purchased ahead of time and picked up. Wearing a mask is optional in Texas so it felt good not being forced to wear one as they do in California. Some of the staff wore one but that's on them. Great store. Right off Interstate 10. Easy on....easy of. Plenty of parking. You can't go wrong here. If I'm in the area, I'll stop again. read more

Staff here are always helpful. Adrian went above and beyond on my last visit to help me find a product I thought was out of stock, and request they order more. I've done a food bit of in-store shopping, drive up pickup and also delivery during the pandemic. All of those experiences met or exceeded expectations. I don't love the wine selection in the El Paso area (this is not just a Total Wine issue) but I love their selection of beer and spirits. And they have an unequaled selection of all the "fixins" or "accoutrements" for those who like to make fancy cocktails. I'm also personally thrilled with the selection of digestifs. read more

This store just goes to show how kool El Paso is becoming. This store is not just your everyday liquor but the winery warehouse from heaven. They pretty much have it all. The service was exceptional and they have tastings throughout the store. The piéce de résistance is that you can find some of those old school classics plus rarities. For a mere $3373.00 you grab that bottle of Louis the 15th. My point is if you know people who enjoy a great bottle of wine or liquor this is the place to grab the special Christmas present. Glasses to bottle racks even chillers. Got to grab me one for thanksgiving. Last but not least they have a party tasting room for you and your friends. Where do i even begin!??? So i have been solely dependant on Specs being THE alcohol store because thats what ive become accostumed to. But when youre on the search for a particular Cabernet brand and Google says its at Total Wine and More, you get there quick fast and in a hurry before they close! I truly wasnt prepared for what was coming next! Just from the name itself, i did not realize how the "and More" actually implied. It was just WAY beyond that! I was floored at their endless selections of not only wine, but of all the hard liquors! And not only did they offer an amazing selection of glassware, but there were endless possibilities to throw together a brunch party or any other type of celebration!... using COVID precautions of course lol. But seriously! The employees are VERY knowledgeable about their wines and what appropriate wine glasses to use! It was absolutely mind blowing! This place is fantastic! It's everything I thought it would be and more! Where do I start? Let's see...Well I have to say it's like an adult candy store! Besides lots of alcohol, they actually have alcohol-infused gummies. They were about $28 so I said no thanks. I may have to come back for them soon. I didn't know where to start so I just walked around. Get this...they actually let you sample some of the liquors and wines, etc. The ones that are available for sampling have bright signs on them. I decided to try some organic Vodka from Austin. I loved the strawberry-flavored. I bought a bottle of it for $20. It's like candy water with a little burn. I tried another vodka with chile in it. No thanks. I love my chile but not mixed with vodka. I also bought a six-pack of Ace Rose flavored. I love their pineapple cider. I'm excited to try their Rose. They also have a great selection of cigars and stuff you may need for your home bar. They had a very cute Knome bottle opener I almost went home with for $7-8. They also offer to assist at weddings. I think they can help with the bottles. I'm not too sure. The staff's very nice and helpful around the store. They let you look around in peace but offer to help if you need it. I love that! Total Wine is a national chain and I was familiar with other stores in the east. This one is tucked into the far corner of El Paso's "Fountains" mall, so I had to call them to get directions to supplement my phone's GPS. When I walked into the store I spoke to the first store person available in my search for a particular French wine. He didn't know but promptly fixed me up with someone who did. The prices are very good and the selection is huge. Got a case of wine and was then assisted in the search for a nice bottle of port and a huge bottle of tequila. I was advised that the latter was good enough for sipping or mixing. Checkout included credit onto my fiancé's Total rewards account and an offer to help me out to the vehicle with my haul. I went in to buy a Cabernet for a friend and knew absolutely nothing about them, but the gentleman helping me, led me directly to a Cabernet within the price range I gave him and highly recommended it. My friend loved it and drank the entire bottle the same night. I highly recommend this store. Fantastic selection, amazing customer service, clean, and just overall great ! I enjoyed shopping here, this place had anything alcohol related you could imagine. If you're a wine lover, definitely check it out. It's a very impressive collection & I found the rare wine I can never find anywhere. They also carry local wines. The store is huge and 75% of their stock seemed to be wine The liquor & beer sections are worth a look. I saw a lot of craft & import beer. The tequila aisle is very impressive. Huge store with pretty decent selection. However if you're buying beer make sure you look at the best by dates, bought some beers earlier this week and they had best by date of July 2019. It's January 2020. You'd expect a store of this caliber have some proper checks and controls for these type of things but make sure you do you HW and check the dates yourself! read more

Yesterday I went to make a purchase and received the most Disgusting and Discriminating treatment I have ever had in my entire life. I had several expensive tequila bottles in my cart when Manager on duty Gil Frijo, approached me with a bad attitude telling me I could only purchase one bottle. I said ok, then I called friends and family so they could go and pick up their bottles since I could not make the entire purchase. Then he came back and said it was only ONE bottle per group..... long story short he kept on giving me excuses and telling me not to be cussing in HIS store & in front of children (which their was no children around btw) he ended up kicking me out of "his" store. Later I learned he let my friends take more than one bottle when they went to pick them up! Never coming back! read more

I really think this place is terrible. I have been to other locations in the Great State of Texas and they are way better. I called last Friday asking for a particular beer, the lady that answered checked in the back and said she had six singles for me and could hold them the rest of the day. I told her that I would not be able to go until the next day, thanks anyways. The next day I excitedly went to the craft beer counter and told the lady of my conversation from the day before, she was too busy making "flags of the world" and told me they didn't have any, without even taking the time to check in the back. LAZY. I then went to the CUSTOMER SERVICE counter where a man and a woman proceeded to ignore me because they were too busy writing crap on notebooks. LAZY. A young man came by to help, I explained my conversation from the day before and he was utterly confused and it seemed like he did not want to check. LAZY. I told him thanks anyways, I got in my truck and drove to Specs instead. This place thinks that they are doing you a favor by taking your money.
