Bought 2 sheets of plasterboard and had to go to shed at end of yard to collect it after you have paid for it at til.Only one chap in shed and he was unloading a lorry with a fork lift truck and just ignored me. After 5 minutes went back to til and asked if anyone else is available to give me the 2 sheets and some grumpy guy snatched the receipt and marched off to do it moaning on the way.Poor service!! read more

yes miserable staff,abrupt,don't like going there. Wood merchant in pennycross is cheaper and very helpful and friendly

i have had to use totem on a number of occasions as they have a really good range of timber for my specialist needs. good service on the timber cutting section and prices are ok too, i would use them more often if it was not for the most miserable and sarcastic till staff i have ever come across, the younger male being particularly rude.i have visited the store about 20 times this year and each time i have been i have left feeling really angry. i am not normally oversensitive to staff being unhelpful, but these guys go out of there way to be rude, hence i go out of my way not to go there! read more

As i am a builder and my customer base is mostley all plymouth orientated i have to say that totem timber has not only got a wide range of building materials and tools but with out a doubt has to be the best for prices compared to other merchants and stores. read more
