When we called to see how much the tow bill was, the owner, which was the rudest person I have ever dealt with, said it would be $400 or to sign the title over. I have never in my life heard of being charged that much to take it a car less than 5 miles up the street. The owner claims because it was an accident (although no other vehicle was involved, and my daughter didn't even get a ticket). Come to find out they drove it to Bridgeport (where I initially wanted it towed) then back to Birch Run and charged me for it, for a total of 17 miles. When I told him I wanted a detailed breakdown of what I just paid $400 for, the owner laughed and said "oh you must want to pay more" I'm not sure if they have some type of contract with the police of sheriff in that area, but they need to be put on notice how this company is screwing people over. Ordered the tires online and those exact ones were put on without any problems. My kid test drove them on a 4.5 hour trip. And they lasted longer than her old Ford. Fast forward to about 5 months ago, I again returned for tires and found out the owner sold the business. He was still employed there, and no doubt the services remained top notch. After they put on my new tires, he was concerned about a noise that he heard and I reassured him that they didn't do anything wrong. The noise was unnoticeable when he pulled it around, but when he brought it back he mentioned it. To me, he was very genuine about it and did not try to make it seem as though he didn't hear it but also didn't want me to think they broke anything. I even switched to the company that they dealt with for credit services and remained pleased with the 6 month same as cash offering that I'd been accustomed to with my other card. I have purchased 3 sets of tires from Discount Tires (never again) and tires from Belle Tire (even worse). Totten is my place for these services. Quality and professional service is what makes a great place. I just hope the new owners keep the same standards and staff.
