There were constant "change orders" for things like an additional $2,600 for touch up paint on trim and other things that should have simply been part of the contract. Our $73,600 contract ballooned into a $93,200 contract with no significant changes made to the work.  It took them 7 months to remodel a bathroom, paint, install laminate floors and they still weren't done when we finally asked them to just not come back due to workers never showing up. They have no secretary and try to manage everything through an app that does not work. Payments through the app didn't go through so we had to just send a check that the company could not or would not keep track of. There is no way to directly contact Ryon. All you can do is text and he will say "I'll look into that" and then you will never hear back. He literally said "I will get back to you ASAP" over a month ago now. They left a ton of trash from the remodel on the side of our house. We had to clean up after them at the end of the job. And then there was just weird stuff... like they painted the walls in semi gloss, they would just leave doors open--not just unlocked--open when they left for the night. Our plumbing started leaking and pooling in the basement near the shutoff valve they were using and they never told us.... Altogether it was just a legendary bad experience.

It was early July and they were so busy that they told us they wouldn't be able to get to our house until the end of October. We thought we might have to wait till spring, but true to their promise, they contacted us and between early rains got the job done. On the day the work was to begin, the paint was delivered just before sunrise. Cliff, the owner, showed shortly after with a crew of 8. They spent the first few hours prepping everything meticulously. Then they got down to the business of painting -- two coats. It was immediately obvious that these men were very experienced, cared about their work, and were proud of what they were doing. This is definitely a reflection of strong leadership and mutual respect. Cliff checked with us to make sure we liked the color we had chosen and the quality of the work they were doing. Cori was recommended to me as I needed a house interior painted and a deck that needed some new…read moreboards and new paint. It did take a couple days of back and forth to get ahold of him as he is very busy. He told me he normally has a separate deck crew, but not many people are looking to work, so he is doing as much as he can with a small crew. I also had a few handyman repairs that needed to be made to a door frame and some exterior paneling to the house. Cori said he could handle all of it. I was quoted $6,500-$7,000 for the entire amount of work and materials. The deck was going to be stained instead of painted as the weather was lousy and we were trying to get the house on the market quickly, so that helped a little with the cost. Cori was able to get all of the various work done in less than a week. We even added in the kitchen cabinets being painted, which I expected to be about an extra $1,000. He was able to add that no problem. All of the work was well done. There was some very minor touch-up that needed to be done after the initial inspection and that was squared away immediately. Overall, it ended up being just under $7,400 -- including the cabinets, mind you -- so Cori came under on the low end of his initial quote. We were able to get the house on the market quickly and sold the house for what we were asking in less than 2 weeks. I believe this was in large part to Cori's quality work. If I ever need similar work performed in the future, I will absolutely give Cori a call and I would tell others to as well.
