She says, 'no, you'll have to come and get it.' I thought maybe she misunderstood. So, I asked, 'you're saying that for $300 you can't stick it in an envelope and drop it in a mailbox?' She said, 'that's right, you'll have to come and get it.' Then I explained that that wouldn't work as I have a 14 hour travel day to get to Taos and can't, after that, drive across town to pick this up. But she refused. Boggles the mind. I own a small business and if one of employees turned down a $300 sale because they didn't want to slip the certificate into the mail, I'd fire them. So, I asked one final time, 'you'd rather have me spend the money at Amazon than with you?" And she ghosted me after that. So, I've ordered from Amazon and won't be coming to this place. They had a range of regional-looking fabric prints, which I always look for while traveling so I can take home something to remember the vacation. I found a very cute kokopelli print in a fat quarter bundled with some similarly-colored fabric that will pair nicely for a small project. There was also a pretty good stock of quilting and sewing accessories (not that I was looking for that today, but good to know!), but the overall shop was just so warm and welcoming with splashes of colors all across the walls with tons of fabric. I also liked how they had some project lying around to give you inspiration for what to do with your new fabrics. I really loved to visit here, and I would go back again!
