The price does seem to rise every year, but given it's age and running costs and just the original experience it's worth every penny..it's not much only about 40p each (pay at the top!) The times can vary so it's best to check otherwise you may still have the climb up the hill, it tends to be open late when there's a show on at the Futurist. It is located in between Filey and Scarborough and is right on the cliffs. There is a lovely walk down to the beach and it's great for kite flying up here. We stayed here in a tent and a touring caravan. We were never stuck for something to do and the children's play park was brilliant as it was huge. They had great facilities including a well stocked shop, fish and chip shop, a bar for adults and families and a swimming pool. I am now planning visiting with my child and I hope she enjoys it as much as I did. The park was always clean, tidy and very professionally run. The grounds are lovely and they always have lovely roses up the main drive. Would definitely recommend a holiday here.

Walkers cut through this site to walk the cliffs into whitby or robin hoods bay. the caravans are all new and well maintained. There are a few to let but most are privately owned. Myself and my family went to Filey for a holiday here in June 08…read more Upon arrival we found it easy to find the check in place and was wondering what our caravan would be like, when we found it i was amazed at how lovely, spacious and clean it was. We paid for all beds to be made on arrival and they were done well. We had a look around the park they seemed plenty to do - outdoor football, basketball courts, parks, swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), shop, burger king, amusements, 3 bars of entertainment, restaurant plus there was just little bits round the place where you could explore. We looked down from the cliffs to see seals swimming in the sea, was a fantastic experience. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it and would always go back again in the future to stay there again.

The…read morecaravan we first received was dirty and had mould - after a bit of arguing we were changed to a clean caravan but the reception staff tried to force us to pay more to be moved. We bought the passes to use the facilities and they all needed renovating. The pool area looked like it hadn't been painted for some time, and the pub which served meals was dirty the staff seemed more interested in chatting than cleaning tables. The security staff also took their job way too serioulsy my 6 year old lost his pass and we had several arguements with sercuity staff to get him in the main room (as it was too late to get a replacement from the reception) eventhough the other 5 in the party all had their passes. Blue Dolphin is not a haven site I would receommend. Try Primrose Valley instead.

We booked them to take us to our destination, also when we wanted to go out and about from Blue Dolphin we gave them a ring, they were quick, friendly and helpful drivers. Also where they are based at the train station, they will keep hold of your luggage for 50p per item which we used on the way home, which we felt was a good price. If we go back to Filey we will use this taxi firm again!
