I thought they would squeeze us in when they could, but apparently they have a lot of flexibility. We arrived on time and our pilot was already out checking our plane. The building is clean, large and comfortable with a friendly team. The plane was SMALL! I was expecting small, but it's a tighter squeeze than a tiny car. 2 people sat in back, and I sat in front with the pilot. Our pilot even let me fly! We had an amazing time soaring over CB, and felt very comfortable. We experienced zero g's, and some fun dips and turns. This certainly did not help with my long standing desire to learn to fly! I'm really going to have to start a savings fund now!

The inside is a little rundown, but what you would expect in a little motel. I didn't expect bugs like the filthiest of them. Roaches ... and that is one thing I cannot do I can go without hot water and a crappy bed and or heating or air... I can't do bugs. Monday and Tuesday I stayed in Sioux City. Wednesday I went to stay with a friend and was hoping that by Thursday morning the situation would've been taken care of...considering I called the hotel and told them there was bugs in the room I didn't ask to be moved. I just asked for them to please spray, honestly since I seen them there, I wouldn't be bringing any of my items or food in the room. Thursday when I got back I was hoping to just go lay down in my crap bag hotel, but I couldn't really even do that effectively. Bugs again the second queen bed I pulled back the bedspread, and the bugs were still exactly where they were when I covered them back up, I paid almost $340 for 7 days and this is what I got, not super happy, but I didn't see the sign that said no refunds until after I paid...and since they couldn't even spray for bugs. Why bother If you have to stay here because of the price point I get it. I just hope that you get a room with no bugs or your stay is a short one. This is not a good, long-term Hotel... and it's rather unfortunate because there are a couple restaurants in walking distance as well as the grocery store and a gas station..but unless you're used to living with bugs, it's not going to work out super great for ya. As soon as the facility I booked with canceled. I got out of there before 4 AM today I already knew I wouldn't get a refund so no need to raise my blood pressure unnecessarily... Y'all actually have a pretty good location for that little town. It wouldn't take much to clean up your property a little bit and get an exterminator in there.

This little motor inn has parking at your door and the basics one wants while traveling. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the rate reasonable for its market. I was on a recent fishing trip through the area and after a long days drive getting to out next spot, came across the Capri - it was just the right spot for a night after driving in the rains most of the day. The owners and front staff, professional, friendly and kind - they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and the room up to expectations, which were exceeded given the rate paid. Winter Quarters is a terrific 30-75 minute visit with a 16 min video, visitors center, and the cemetery. And it's free. The kids love pushing the handcart and the log cabin and the covered wagon. The museum tells the story of Winter Quarters and also about the 90,000 pioneers traveling the 1300 miles from Nauvoo to Salt Lake from 1846-1890. A really cool interactive map shows all the different companies coming by wagon, handcart, train, and over the oceans by steamship and sailing ship- so you can look for the company your ancestor traveled in. You can find who is buried in the cemetery, maybe it's your great grandmother! This is a great place to learn about the pioneers heritage. The guides are so pleasant and helpful.

The ladies at the OVI provided some really great suggestions, especially as the weather was not up to par for outside events. I was given pamphlets of things to see and do as well as suggestions to eat. Some of the places I knew about but there were places, like the Jocelyn Castle, that I wasn't aware of and even while at dinner with locals from her job, they were not aware of. I highly recommend that if you are visiting, that you stop in and get some information from the locals that may take you places that you hadn't planned to go, but glad you went.

The Visitor Information Center is in the Old Market, and while you are here (maybe to spend time in our fantastic newly-renovated city park!) you can drop in to this volunteer-staffed office and look through the plentiful and well-organized pamphlets, and also talk with people who are familiar with the things our city has to offer!

The value for the amount paid was pefect! Pet friendly, very clean, safe, nice breakfast (bonus), black out curtains were very helpful since we were trying to sleep after the sun came up.
