Sometimes you have to have your innards looked at by medical professionals. And as far as radiology centers go, this one is pretty nice. The waiting room is a clean airy space. There is plenty of parking; note that the parking lot is accessible from Napoleon Ave only, not Claiborne...which is probably safer. The staff was pleasant and efficient. There were dressing rooms and a locker to place your valuables with keys so you felt safe. The imaging is unpleasant, easy, annoying, disconcerting, no big...depending on what you're having done. Because of the location, I'll definitely be moving all my testing to this location. read more

I've been coming here for quite a few years - more times than I care to admit or check-in. The employees are usually friendly. As with any medical office, sometimes you have to wait a while. I can't say this can't be a cause for lower ratings; however, I believe you can only judge a place in comparison with similar entities on occasion. I've been waiting here longer than usual today, and I must admit I'm not pleased. On the other hand, I've been to multiple Inaging centers in Nola & Baton Rouge - this one is THE BEST. Why, you ask? It's clean, the employees are as discreet as possible, and the medical professionals are as helpful and knowledge as they possibly could be. If there was a such thing as an elite, upper class imaging center this would be as close to that as you can get in Nola. When I first started having issues that needed this kind of attention, I went to another facility. When it was time to transfer all of my records here, they could not locate the films. Seriously? How can anyone use them for my current comparison if they do not exist? After Touro repeatedly tried to obtain the images, I went there myself but I didn't get anywhere. Touro has managed my care well and I have been supplied with images very quickly and easily whenever I have requested them. I am extremely confident this entity will not just "lose" my medical records. It's well worth the drive even through bad weather (like today) and horrible traffic uptown (like always). read more

I've been coming here for probably 15 years. Because of a family history of breast cancer, I routinely get a mammogram and an ultrasound. Due to the fact that I had an accident this year, and have had a lot of pain, my gynecologist gave me a break and ordered just the ultrasound. Because this is not the radiologists' protocol here, it was a nightmare getting this approved. When I finally got to my appointment, it was still a problem. Got it figured out only to find out they were probably running 2 hours behind, and I had a conflict. They basically told me to start the process over with remote scheduling. I thought I was going to have a meltdown, so I asked Catherine Williams, one of their Patient Access Representatives, to help me so I don't have to go through this approval nightmare again. Basically, she took 20-30 minutes to patiently find the Radiologist who okayed it, made my next appointment from her computer, and made extensive notes with my appointment so I won't have this problem again. Few Representatives would have taken the time and effort to straighten this all out. She absolutely made my day, so many thanks to you Catherine! read more

I hate and am so disappointed in Touro Imaging Center, and only come here because this is where my doctor gives me orders for. The center is a place of anxiety for me as it is (because, ya know, cancer) but it is made 100% worse by all of the reception staff who are rude, unkind, and walk around like their dogs just died. Also on several occasions have had to wait over an hour before being seen even though I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment was supposed to start. read more

My doctor recommended this place because he said they are the best. I'll agree with him on that. However, if you are looking for compassionate service when you walk in, forget about it. The receptionist are more concerned about whether they are getting the stuffed bell peppers or fried shrimp for lunch. They don't even notice you standing at the desk, nor do they make eye contact. It's as if they are herding cattle. Doesn't matter that you may be scared to death because you don't know if you have cancer or not. It's all about the stuffed bell peppers.... To be fair, once I got past them, the technician was sterile and matter of fact in getting things done, but pleasant. Get 'em in and get 'em out. Herding cattle. My highest regard for the doctor and the nursing staff. They were very caring and knowledgeable. I would defiantly recommend this place over others but just don't expect too much when you walk in. Customer service training would be a plus. read more

I noticed the reviews were old so I wanted to leave a current review. Yesterday was my first visit to Touro Imaging Center at 2929 Napoleon. I was extremely nervous about the invasive ultrasound my doctor ordered, but the whole procedure from beginning to end was a GREAT relief! I had the same invasive ultrasound a couple of months ago at another facility, but it was a horrible experience, so uncomfortable and painful, so I was so nervous about having it done again. My doctor suggested I try Touro Imaging Center this time, so I did and what a gigantic difference it was! This time the procedure was not painful and was as pleasant as something like this could be! I was so relieved! Sara was my ultrasound technician. She was very thorough, gentle, and understanding. I was so happy at the end of the visit because it was not horrible. I asked for her name so I could ask for her if I needed to have it done again. She gave it to me, but assured me that my visit would go the same with all the other technicians here as well, not to worry. The receptionists were nice and I was taken on time for my appointment. I went here for my first mammogram today and I have to say, the experience was as good as it could possibly be. I was registered immediately as I walked in. Questions were verbal and minimal--I had nothing to fill out. They showed me to the waiting room away from the main room and adjacent to the mammogram screening rooms. Comfy and stylish room with iced water dispenser. I waited only about 10-15 minutes, and once I changed into the little spa robe, I went right into the mammogram room with one technician. She was very friendly and only had a few questions before we began. She was delighted about it being my first mammogram, and she made the process as easy as possible. The mammogram only takes a few minutes and was not only mildly uncomfortable for a few seconds at a time FYI. Very efficient and friendly place. read more

I love that my doctor sends me here for my yearly x-raying. It makes me not mind so much for why I am here. This is a very nice facility for getting x-rays. The staff is always super friendly and extremely efficient. I usually make my appointment for 8:00 a.m. and I'm prolly out in about 20 minutes. There's a very well decorated separate waiting room just for us ladies. They always have a big jar of lemon water for anyone who's thirsty. The dressing rooms are what one would expect while shopping at a high end boutique. Tres chic! The lockers are starting to show some wear though. In all it's a lovely facility. read more

This is a really great facility. I went in for 2 ultrasounds and I arrived 10 minutes early and was out of there in 30-45 minutes. It was a very quick process from the time I arrived to the time I left. The employees at the desk were great and the technician was great (I believe her name was Sara). There is a parking lot which is wonderful! I would definitely recommend this center for anyone needing ultrasounds or any type of imaging performed. read more
