There are always hundreds of children running around and it isn't the most visually appealing place to enjoy an afternoon of shopping - more of a get what you need and leave type place. It does have a few good high street stores such as River Island, New Look and Dorothy Perkins but each of these are small branches and I rarely find myself spending too much money. In terms of food shopping, there is a huge Tesco's which is probably the best I have ever visited and a couple of cafes. A little run down but it definitely suffices if you only need a few bits and pieces. Not somewhere to plan a real shopping outing however!

Well the R1 has a much wider range of adjustable options so TaylorMade say that this is 'one driver for everyone'. There are 12 different loft settings over a range of 8 to 12 degrees including 2 upright positions. This means that there will only be one model and then you change the loft to suit. Research from TaylorMade found that 80% of people play with the wrong loft, with 35% by more than 2 degrees, so it is essential to go through some form of custom fitting process to get the right setting for your swing. TaylorMade say there will also be a telephone support line with tuning experts to help you do this and the head cover will have a dial on it so you can record your preferred settings, which are nice touches. The standard R1 driver comes with the excellent Aldila RIP Phenom 55g gram shaft that is very light and stable. The TP version comes with a more expensive and slightly heavier 65 gram shaft. The TaylorMade R1 driver is pricey but the sound, feel, forgiveness and loft options are all top drawer and in our opinion this is one of the better drivers TaylorMade have created in recent years. I'd seen a couple of snippets from the film and was excited to see the whole thing, particularly as it was being shown in Brewer Street mulit-storey car park of all places. We arrived early and although it was a bit shit to be kept outside in the rain it was well worth the wait, despite getting rather wet. As we entered we walked down a flight of stairs and through a door into a very 'non-carpark' looking space with a popping bubble wrap carpet. The free badges and drinks vouchers went down a treat and we began to congregate in front of the projected screen. It seemed that we were going to have to park our bums on the floor until a series of cardboard boxes began expanding with inflating air beds breaking out of them! So we got comfy and the film began. The film was about a robot/computer love story and it was really good. I'd love to know if it's going to be available for everyone to see soon but in the mean time check out the trailer below. Trawling the net I came across Lomax Parking. What a find that was. For £15 a day (cheaper than most airports) we booked a place.
