When I visit my family, it is normally for a week per trip, so I pop in here and purchase a week pass. Sadly they have recently gone up 60% in price from $25 to $40 for the week. Seems like a huge jump, so if I am unable to commit to every day of my visit, I no longer purchase. The gym is a great size with a great layout and mix of equipment and clearly defined areas. It is two levels with the upstairs being fully reserved for cardio equipment. There is a small space on the first floor that has cardio if stairs are on issue. Machines are in the front part of the main space, while free weights line the back mirrored walls with all varieties of benches, racks, medicine balls, ropes and circuit style accessories. Majority of the equipment and free weights are in rough shape, no pun intended. For the cable machine, most of the accessories are missing all or a portion of the grips, numbers on the weights have rubbed off and seating is worn. This continues through the gym and is noticeable on several machines and free weights/benches. Outside of weights, they do offer tanning, water massage beds, a pool, classes and a juice/protein shake bar. Service is okay. Front desk staff are never really engaging or welcoming, which is odd for a new person walking in to pay for one week what others pay for a month. Overall, I may be spoiled by my home gym, but Onelife Fitness leaves a bit to be desired.

There's plenty of equipment, and it's easy to maneuver through the facility even when it's busy. Busiest times from my experience: Weekdays after 5pm, and Saturdays before 1pm. Least busy times: Weekdays between 10am and 5pm. I like using the Cinema room for cardio because it's not crowded most of the time. It gets a little chilly in there so wearing a hoodie and waist trainer helps with staying warm and working up a good sweat. Downside: They don't offer a lot of classes and the times could be set up better to accommodate more members.

I received notice that because I did not cancel in writing my membership was automatically rolled over to a 12 month membership, but they would "let me out of the contract" if I paid $125. This place does is a joke extorts people for money and I sincerely hope this helps people decide to go elsewhere for their gym services.

Not the case with NRG. I looked at all the gyms in the area and settled on this one because it's 24 hour access, the equipment is the best that I have ever used, they offer good classes that I enjoy taking. I have never taken a private lesson but see the owner giving them in the gym and it seems that his clients are getting a really good workout. All in all if you want a gym that you can walk in, work out on top notch equipment with no huge lines and crowds then give NRG a go

I have physical limitations and do not want to take any classes on the floor. The male instructor and the owner's sister, who was there on my second class, either got upset because I refused the mat class or were very condescending and told me they choose what class they teach and not the client. I bought a 6-class pass. I wanted classes on the reformer. I was told I can't just choose one type of class. I was also told the reformer class was too advance. I honestly feel that attitude is going to discourage New and potential long term clients. Make sure you ask ahead. Don't buy the pass unless they can give you what you're paying for. I will take my money somewhere else. I was giving a refund for 5 classes which was fair. Thank you.
