I like the layout of this antique shop, easy to walk around and look at everything. A display of genuine jewelry across from the checkout and a small display out front in a case too. A walk down memory lane for items I had as a kid. Saw a ton of Hummel figurines, was and is a family heirloom. I bought the girl and boy figurine as well as the boy and girl under the umbrella. I also ended up buying a trapezoidal art deco low profile diamond ring with some small diamond accents for a reasonable price. I have been in this store multiple time, both with my husband and daughter. I've bought numerous salt and pepper shakers and vinyls and have always enjoyed browsing around. however, recently my daughter and I were here and tried on a dress. She walked around with it unsure if she wanted to purchase it. As she continued walking around, she set it down to look at some figurines and browse through a collection of vinyls. Eventually we needed to leave, so left the store empty handed. A few hours later, I just so happened to be scrolling on Facebook and came across a post with a photo of the dress my daughter had tried on saying "Vintage dress stolen from shop in Romeo. You have until 6pm to return it". They then claimed in the comments to have security footage and would be going to the authorities at 6. I immediately asked my daughter if she could recall where she may have set it down. We sent a message immediately on Facebook stating exactly where the dress should be, and then called to let them know where we thought it was. It was of course there, the woman on the phone found it the second the stepped into the booth. She knew right away which booth I was describing, going so far as to say the name of the booth owner (Polly? Pauline? Something along those lines). It's incredibly odd (not to mention unprofessional) that a threatening post like this would be made BEFORE making a quick walk around the store to see if it had just been set down elsewhere. I have to imagine this is not the first time something had been misplaced within the store. While I apologized for the misunderstanding, I surely would have expected an apology for a brazen, accusatory, false post. The dress was not hidden, and certainly not stolen, and we will not be returning. Edited to add that I contacted via Facebook the shop to ask if they had bothered to look through the store before they made accusatory comments on a public platform to which the woman responded that she is just glad they found the item "by the back door", which was a blatant lie. This type of treatment towards paying customers is gross and unacceptable, and while I initially felt terribly for the mixup, after talking to NUMEROUS people, including another antique shop owner, I realize that the behavior on the shop's part is both negligent and u professional. I'd steer clear. Michigan has a ton of amazing antique shops with owners who are so lovely to talk to and get to know. This is not one of them. Even outside of this experience, I'd say the customer service is crap. The time before this when we came in, the man ringing us up didn't speak a word other than to let us know the price. Drove all the way from Grand Blanc. Very well put together store. Clean and organized. However, don't visit if you are looking for variety and definitely don't visit if you want to be treated with respect. I searched the entire place and found one set of tumblers I wanted. One problem: there were two prices on them on two separate tags. One at $36 and one at $20. I was confused and asked which was the right price. The counter person said the $20 tag had been attached to the set so "that someone could get them cheap- just like you're trying to do now". EXCUSE ME???? That woman actually accused me of switching price tags. I understand mistakes get made but to be that insulting is unacceptable. I WILL NEVER RETURN. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. read more

These days any antique mall without any junk in it immediately earns my respect, so I've got to give credit where credit is due. I really enjoyed the "old general store/bank" section because you don't see those particular antiques too often in such abundance, and it was really well merchandised. Three floors sounds much larger than it actually is (it's more like 2.5), but a lot of booths are jam-packed in a good way. There's a lot to look at. That said, much of the antiques here are glassware/kitchenware, linens, and knick-knacks (there is very little furniture or clothing). Additionally, much of it is overpriced and not a single booth was on sale. An irrelevant aside, but when I went to inspect the tag of a hat, a spider jumped out of it. Not their fault, but still icky (glad I didn't try it on). This strikes me as the type of place that probably doesn't have frequent turnover, so I'll probably make annual visits. read more

We drove 1 1/2 hours to visit this antique mall- it appeared adorable in the pictures so we made a girlfriend day of it!! We found the employees very stand-offish bordering on rude!!! They were reluctant to help with opening cabinets and were extremely rude to a young customer - asking for a best price- while we were there!!! We asked about other stores in the area and they reluctantly mumbled a craft store down the road- when there was another antique store 15 miles down the road!!! My girlfriends and I love visiting antique destinations frequently but we will not be adding this to our go to list!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! read more

The biggest and best antique shop in lower Michigan, save for the antique mall in Monroe (but that's damn near Ohio anyway, so who's counting?) Town Hall has three floors packed to the gills with antiques of all kinds. If you're a depression glass junkie, they've got shelves upon shelves of the stuff. There are rooms upstairs dedicated to antique housewares - dish sets, antique silver, cookie jars, and so on. Some of these rooms also include one of my favorite things: vintage cameras! In the rear of the main floor there are many boxes of turn of the century postcards (that's 19th to 20th, not 20th to 21st...) in a variety of design and origin. I purchased some really awesome Polish postcards from 1893. My ex stole them and I really don't want to get into that. Honestly I really couldn't begin to catalog all of the amazing things I've seen in this place; it's sort of "you just have to see it to believe it." You know, maybe I should type out some of the amazing things I've seen in this place! I've seen: wind-up mantle clocks, glass laudanum bottles, opera lenses, telegraphs, civil war bullets, Kodak Brownie cameras, Victrolas, strange medical devices, English bowler hats, Victorian boots, rings, all brass fans, BOOKS... the list could be a mile long. If you have an afternoon to waste, definitely waste it here! And while you're at it, go next door and grab an ice cream. read more

My favorite Antique store thus far!!!!! This place is huge!!! Not your typical antique place.....Very clean, organized, well presented items....Several sellers have thier own area in the store, so there are many choices and items from everywhere! Has an upstairs, downstairs and back room! I can walk around in here for hours and just look at everything!!! Ps....Bathroom is also very nice, clean! While sitting on the pot, you can gaze at the antiques displayed in their too!!! read more

Paradise! I love hunting thru antique shops to find great things at great prices. You can certainly do that here! This is not one of those stores where everything is marked way up because it's "vintage". Three floors filled with thousands of items in what felt like dozens of rooms. Just when you think you're done you'll see another bunch of rooms around the corner. It's like walking thru your grandparents' basement, seeing all the great stuff you wish you'd appreciated back then. If you're coming in off of Van Dyke (Main St) be sure to make a right into the lot just behind the building to park. We originally turned left but that parking area was for other businesses. This has to be one the best antique shops I have been to in a long time since I've lived down south. It is very rare for me to find really good antique shops up here in Michigan since most of them usually just have junk. But this place seems to be the southern style that I'm used to when it comes to antique stores. It's more about boosts of other peoples stuff and a shop owner who sells based on you know the booth. I didn't really get a chance to look through here since I only had half an hour until they closed but I already found a few things and bought a few things within that half an hour. It really is a place I need to go back to several times just to check out because they had so much stuff to look at and it's really worth checking out multiple times. If you really like antiques as much as I do this place is definitely the place for you. I really like the staff and how friendly they were and helpful when purchasing items. I would almost give this store a big fat zero after yesterday's repeat performance About 4 months ago I had been in to the antique store with my parents looking at an emerald necklace and the workers at this co-op were not only not friendly but they also embarrassed the older gentleman that was trying to open the fine jewelry case. Aggravated I walked away on the piece. Apparently a glutton for rude treatment the three of us went back yesterday. We were not acknowledged or greeted. In fact we were mostly ignored until I specifically asked about a piece with no price tag. Now they were helping others during that time including a mother with a baby stroller but no offer was made during our visit. So, dear co-op co owners. I am furnishing a house. There was no need to be rude because now we will no longer be going back as two times with those women was plenty for both my parents and myself. I suggest in the future you greet and help all and even if they are wearing shorts and a t-shirt don't assume to not help them. Shop eBay instead the sellers are more friendly. read more

This is now one of my favorite places to vintage shop! I will continue to be a regular now! There is something here for everyone! I have found some rare pieces in this store and for a great price. The store is huge with lots of vendors. The parking is easy too. This is the cutest little town with the cutest restaurants and bars. Across the street is more vintage stores. Very clean. Everything is well displayed. Three floors of antiques. They have something for everyone. From military items to fine china to kitsch.They have a clean public restroom and that's a big plus since it's a long drive for us! The prices are o.k. but I usually try to go when they are having a sale. Lots to look at and I always find a few good buys. read more

I was looking for a drop leaf table in its original condition and found just what I was looking for, just like Mom's table for 200.00, this was a steal, had 4 leafs to boot. I don't know if Nancy actually realizes how much of a life saver she was for my husband and I.
