I went there on July 30, I asked Alex, a new hire on his 2nd day, can I pay with card and cash, he RUDELY says I DON'T KNOW! I run my card and decline bc I need to pay cash & card. I ask again, he RUDELY repeats I DON"T KNOW! His coworker, who is the supposed manager comes over and shows him how to do a card and cash transaction. I say I asked before, manager hollers WELL YOU DON'T HAVE TO COME HERE! I say thank you for the AWESOME SERVICE! I start leaving, call them a$$holes and the manager follows me out, still hollering. The next Saturday, I go and the manager said that I am banned and he radios to the gas station attendents to give them my license plate #. I have been going to this gas station for 6 years now. I am friendly with the gas station attendants and cashiers. I don't know why Alex targeted me and was so rude. Discrimination is all I can think, I am Native American. I have called and left a message with the owner, who has not called me back. I am not sure who the owner is, whether it is Younger or AM/PM. I am writing a review on the BBB website, too. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Oregon has a law that makes us as drivers give them the power of handling our vehicles. I recently had a trip through Oregon and their pump attendant Mickayla was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She broke my gas door when I specifically told her not to close it because of a similar occurrence I had had on a previous trip. And now the manager Tori is saying that they won't do anything about it. So just a word to the wise don't leave your car in their hands you'll leave with damage and probably won't know about it. I walked in here for some snacks and two of their customers verbally abused me. I ignored them and went to purchase my items at the counter and got the same thing from the cashier. Getting gas at AM/PM usually takes a long time, but I go there anyway because they're cheap. Once a guy in front of me grumbled that he was in a hurry and the gas attendant heard him and started screaming at him, "You got a problem with how long I'm taking? Why don't you get out of your car and we'll do something about it!" Of course the guy in the car was afraid of the attendant and didn't say another word. Amazing hilarity like that keeps me coming back to AM/PM. Not to mention that their soft drink machine gives you a choice between cubed ice and crushed ice. How cool is that? read more

Getting gas takes forever if you come in between 4am and 6am. They only have one person running the inside store and the gas side. You need gas? They have to shut down the store part, and run get you gas. Good luck getting it in a hurry if you need to get to work. I learned this a while ago and get my gas the night before when I'm not in a hurry. All the workers there though are pretty cool and the usually have the cheapest gas. If you think their gas is crap, all gas stations get their gas from the same place. Trust me. I deliver gas to the big suppliers by train in Portland, and trucks from all gas stations come to the same place to fill up so they can then fill the gas stations. read more

Also, supposed off duty employees not in work uniform, wearing sports clothes instead. Otherwise, good place for friendly service. read more

I've been here a few times and every time things were fine. Nothing special or bad about it. Service was quick and I was in and out quickly. The other Arco in town doesn't accept the Arco Gas Cards so if you are in Albany and paying with a Arco Gas Card (ie Gift Card) then you have to go here.
