I just moved and needed water service to be put in my name. I had a hard time switching the water…read moreservice in my name when I called told to fill out application and contact my landlord to help. Nobody seemed to know what to do. Finally I found I could email water billing and did just that. Definitely more responsive that way. Was told to read the meter which my meter of course was not where it normally is by the laundry, so I had to go in crawl space to get the meter reading. Gave that and noticed my water was not working. Found the water turned off due to old tenant not paying the bill. Really I just moved in and switched to my name and now they turn it off! They were closing in a half hour and nobody could stay later I guess, so my landlord could not pay this bill until the next day. Being without water or unable to flush the toilet is just gross. I was really disappointed in how this was handled. They should have left the water on until notifying me or landlord prior to turning it off as there was no notice given. They could have left it on for the day since I just moved in and then the next day make sure the old bill was paid and go from there. Frustrating and glad that is over with, hopefully no other issues arise with water.

Working with Medox Billing Systems has been a horrible experience for me. In fact, I believe this…read moreis probably the first negative review I have ever written. I contracted Lori, at Medox billing to help me become in network at blue cross blue shield (bcbs). She had assured me it would take at most 120 days and assured me she was working on it. I called to check in, and it had seemed to me that I had caught her off guard, but I ignored those feelings, as I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I had enlisted Lori's services in February, upon speaking with bcbs, I found out that my application had been submitted in JUNE (right around the time I called to check in), not February as Lori had stated. What this means is I am at the very beginning stage of the application process, when I should be done. Lori has never once apologized for this obvious error and has never admitted to doing anything wrong. In fact she has gotten upset at me for inquiring about the status of my application too many times. She had assured me this was their error, but I spoke yet again to bcbs and they assured me it was not an error. Lori was supposed to send documentation to them stating she had applied in February, but of course she did not. Everyone makes mistakes, and that would not cause me to write a negative review. But to me, it is very dangerous when someone cannot own their mistakes, and in fact denies any blame. I would NEVER trust Medox Billing Systems with something as important as my own business and especially not with client's sensitive information.
