Once they received my paperwork (DC & court papers) that I gave in person to this location, Loretta told me over the phone that they would send me an estate application, that I would need an EIN, and it would take 7-10 business days after processing the application to open and fund the account. She also said they need my signature on file which they have through the application. I waited for them to send the application, and I waited, and waited. I called and left a few voicemails with Loretta over the course of a few weeks, and didn't get a call back. I finally requested to speak to another staff member, and immediately she discovered that the application was sent to the incorrect email address. She got the correct address and sent the application immediately. I filled that out and waited for them to tell me it was funded. I waited 7 days, and then I called them. It was funded earlier in the week. I had a few checks to deposit to this account, so I took them into this location. The teller was friendly, and he told me it wasn't necessary to sign these checks. Later, I paid them another visit. I had title paperwork that needed several pages to be notarized. I checked in with the person up front, and they led me straight into the room to take care of our business. I've had very good experiences in person at this location, but the handling of the business via the phone wasn't nearly as much fun.

This review concerns our experience closing out the paperwork at the end, the staff, the facility. They were clearly utilizing Covid-safe practices, carefully scheduling clients to keep capacity at a minimum. Our conference room was clean, pens were sanitized and we were asked to pocket those that we used. Our loan officer exhibited an efficiency that lacked... personality? But oh well. At the end of the day we just wanted to sign the contracts and move ahead. Like I said, this was our second time working with the company, and things worked out well.

I found Brian and his team via referral from my realtor; before I even found a house I liked, I met with Brian and learned a bunch about the different types of home loans and programs available for me as a first time buyer. He was very clear with me about everything from up front costs and long-term savings to how his company gets paid in all this. Though I struggled to find a house, I was prepared with my pre-approval in hand and when I did finally find "the one," the loan side of the purchase was really the easy part (scary, but easy). I checked with my own bank to see if they were able to beat the deal Brian found for me and they could not - even my bank's agent said it was a great deal. Fast forward a year and a half, and mortgage rates had dropped 1.625% from my original loan, so I reached out to Brian and asked him if he could run some numbers to see if refinancing would work out to be a good deal for me. He did, and called me to walk through the numbers over the phone. He found me another great option, and just yesterday I signed the paperwork to close on my new loan.
