This is idea. I was on my way into Salzburg when I stopped in to visit. the Cathedral in Mondesee. This is the church that was used int he movie "The Sound of Music" and it was the location where Maria is married. Being a child when I saw this movie I remembered the church. Perfect imagination. Then I left and walked around the town. Opposite the church was this shop with some items outside. I naturally took a look and found a German style men's jacket I liked and had always wanted. So I took this and went inside This was better. Here I met the manager and she was able to speak with me about the item and we looked for other options to choose from. She had me try them on and to consider options. In the end she agreed that the one I found on the sale rack was the best for me. So I bought it. The price was right. The jacket was about $100 (USD). It was handmade in the region. It is 100% cotton and wool. There is nothing false about this. It is also the right color of grey and green trimming. I was glad to see this. Maybe it was after seeing Maria von Trapp and the church. Or maybe it was pure luck. In either way I am glad I have it. I already wore it a few times and people loved it.
