I had to go to another business to have the unadjustable temple arms adjusted which took less than 2 minutes and she also threw in new silicone nose pads so they don't slip any more. 0 stars out of 5 to forsight. I am a retired pensioner and cant afford to lose almost 600 dollars for useless ill fitting frames. I was forced to go to another eyewear business that is in another league when it comes to service ( proper frame fit is job 1) and spent even more money as I decided to go with progressive lenses by Hoya which I was very comfortable with doing because of the professional service. Moral of story is there are a lot of unscrupulous eyewear business's out there that don't care about proper frame fit or proper lens choice and simply want to sell you there cheapest product at the maximum price. I am glad I finally found a great eyewear business after doing alot of research because of my terrible experience with forsight which I will shortly review. '

There are a lot of Optometrists and eyewear stores, for the most part they are all the same, except for Visions Health Care (inside Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke) - that was a horrible experience. Honestly, the only reason why I went to Eyeglass Gallery was because it caries the Tiffany & Co line.

After my experience today I will not be returning I have to recommend that others read the details of my experience as outlined below before buying from them. I ordered a pair of $500 Trivex digital progressive focus Sunglasses (about the best and most expensive type) in order to drive to Florida for a three week vacation. I picked them up and paid for them on April 20th, 2022. I had intended to use them for driving, mainly for the distance vision obviously, but in addition to allow me to read Google map directions etc. at reading distance on my dash mounted phone. The glasses arrived just in time for my trip however they were not made correctly. Distance vision was extremely clear but when I focused on something closer (i.e my phone mounted at arms length on the dash), only one eye at a time was in focus without having to turn my head to allow the other eye to be in the focus sweet spot. The location of the focus point for each eye did not allow both eyes to be in focus at the same time. In order to use it to see my phone while driving I had to resort to covering the out of focus eye (awkward and unsafe while driving). Bottom line they were not usable for the purpose I had bought them for DRIVING. Anil said that he would have it corrected but that there was not time to return them to the lab before my trip and that I should just use them and come back in when I return and to get them replaced. I used them but could not use them for driving. After returning I returned them and was advised 3 & 1/2 weeks later that they were ready so I finally returned to pick up the replacement pair today. Again the distance vision was great but this time in order to focus at arms length to see my dash mounted phone (the reason that I paid a premium for digital progressive in the first place). For close things to be in focus I needed to tilt my head far back and look through only about the bottom 1/4" of the lens next to the bottom frame, an obvious problem while driving. So at this point Anil advised me he didn't know what to do and that he was unable to provide sunglasses that would allow me to see distance (the road) and a dash mounted phone (at reading distance) which was the point from the beginning and is the normal function for digital progressive glasses. He shocked me by telling me that maybe I should go to a different store !!! It appeared that he blamed the problems on me despite the fact any problems we due to either his supplier and Anil's instructions to them. Maybe he was having a bad day but this was totally inexcusable as distance and arm's length reading is what progressive lenses are for. I'm not sure what it means that he said that he cannot provide me progressive sunglasses that do what progressive sunglasses are intended to do. They hqve terrible business practices. Very unprofessional. They had claimed to schedule me several…read moredays later for a appointment. But when I arrived they didn't know what I was doing there. And so they rescheduled me for several weeks later but my teeth were in alot of pain for several weeks. Finally when they eventually operated, they practiced on the wrong tooth. And so I asked for the old x-rays and the new ones and they wouldn't give them up until I got a lawyer to call them. Don't go there if you know what's good for you. They don't even deserve a one star. I wouldnt even go there if it was 100 percent fully covered by my benefits. Terrible.
