Horrible experience there today, sat in line for 3 hours to finally get my tin unloaded and weighed, Then I went to the front to get the aluminum weighed inside, and they said they were closed even though the weigh station guy said they would be open. What a worthless place. So now I had to tie down a bunch of loose aluminum to take back home. Their parking area there is so small that all the trucks were blocking each other. Oh, you have to tell them to give you the prices you were quoted on the phone or else they will give you lower prices.... I have never had such a bad experience at a scrap yard. If you have the choice, travel farther to go elsewhere. read more

I didn't go to this location but went to the one in Sanford. I would assume they are operated the same way. This place is not for the amateur can collector. I had to jump through a lot of hoops for my $10. pull in and park in one area, unload into a buggy, pull the buggy to the scale, hand over my drivers license, get a ticket, drive to the cashier window, sign something get another ticket then go to a pay machine and scan my ticket. UGH. What i hate the most is they scanned my license and the number is on the receipt. I am very uncomfortable with this. They paid a very nice rate for my cans but it is not worth it, i'll go back to my small time place where they get the cans out of my car load them up and pay me, no questions asked. I went to the location on kaley and certainly was not impressed. I own a window replacement business and generate approximately 2,000lbs of aluminum per month and was looking for a new scrap yard to cash in the material at. The employees are RUDE, the place is a mess (even for a scrap yard), and when I asked to talk to a commercial buyer about setting up an account they wouldn't even take the time to speak with me!
