I am not rating the flea market five stars per say but I am rating the vendors that are special to this flea market five stars. There are some gems here hidden in along the generic garbage and mlm vendors. My favorites are the wildberry incense and fake flower arrangment booth, the purse lady, the person with all the freeze dried candy and the tupperware, the homemade wax melt lady, and the person who makes pillows. The food is also pretty good and some of it is made fresh. Honestly - the dusty flea market is a vibe for me - reminds me of my childhood and is worth the initial 3 bucks to get in. read more

I have been to all 50 states and Traders World is one of my favorite roadside attractions. It is right off of I75 and close to I71. There are about 100 vendors, you can buy, sell, and trade just about anything. This is considered a flee market, but they have both new and used items. The food vendors here are OUTSTANDING. They make the fresh pizza right in front of the customers. I noticed one vendor had fresh cut fries. This is such a unique place with the classic cars and the animal statues. read more

This place is pretty big and it's east to get lost in here. Most vendors are pretty friendly and prices vary significantly from booth to booth so shop around before making a decision on what to purchase. The outdoor part was just as overwhelming and after visiting this place I needed a nap. My only complaint is that it's so dark and gloomy inside that when you go outside you are blinded. It's cool to check out at least once. Definitely a wide variety of stuff to choose from. read more

The concept is cool and the decorations are neat, but they really should allow less AI slop, 3D prints and resellers. One lady literally had a stand of things she bought from 5 below and was charging double for them. So many stands had the same exact AI image printed on water bottles or t-shirts. It was less than thrilling and after a couple of buildings, I was ready to leave because there was hardly anything cool. Should be a tiny bit pickier with who the vendors are. read more

Have passed this place so many times on I-75 but never went. Today, I did and was very disappointed. Had to pay to enter the parking lot. I thought this was like an antique mall. It was vendors with home made crafts and some were cute, but mostly junk in the different booths. A lot of booths were empty. It was just an overall overstimulating place. Left within 30 minutes. If you love searching for treasures, people watching or bargain hunting then this is a great place to spend hours. The parking is $2 per car and you receive a map at the entrance. There is plenty of places to park. You can find all types of vendors inside and outside the building. Inside is a bit overwhelming walking in with booths on both sides and items hanging from the ceiling. It is the Midwest's largest shopping experience where you will find collectibles, antiques, toys, sport memorabilia, crafts, unique gifts and so much more. There is a museum down one of the isles and a food court. You could easily spend the day. read more

A very old and unclean building, with years of grime and mold and dust on the floors and walls and ceiling. The place is overwhelmingly huge with lots of shops, but poorly ventilated and very smelly. You will be hit with all the smells all at once -- junk food, marijuana, mold, must, body odor, urine, and outrageously scented candles and soaps. I recommend going sideways, and taking a break outside after every row. I needed a break from the sensory overload. Many of the outdoor shops are just hoarder's collections, lots of trash. The indoor shops are slightly higher quality, but lots of nonsense shops, bulk items from China, weapons, and candles, so many candles, and lots of junk. Prepare to be accosted by shop owners who will talk your ear off. read more

Looking for something to do, and wanted to get in some steps! This place is like a maze, and after a while, a lot of the shops begin to look the same, some are overwhelmed with tons of clutter. It look like somebody's garage full of knickknacks. It was fun to see some of the antiques and things that people were selling at the flea market, they even had a little sit down area, food court. if you're looking for a place to walk around, I'd recommend this place, but make sure you know where you park and importantly, what entrance you came out of, it's easy to get lost. read more

This was the first flea market that I've been to that felt like an amusement park. You drive into a long driveway with giant characters on the grass and go to a parking booth and pay $2 to park. The building is giant, with many vendors and food options. I was really sad getting there in the afternoon because I thought there was no way I was going to see everything in a couple of hours. That was until I actually saw what the vendors were selling. The majority of the vendors sold knives/swords, candles, pop figures, and toys. There were some others thrown in there but most of the things sold felt like stuff they bulk-ordered from China. I walked through the building in an hour. There are also vendors outside who have more flea market-type stuff. Although a majority of it felt like it was picked dumpster diving. I haven't had any issues with any of the vendors and they were all nice and helpful. If you're in the area I definitely think it's an experience to have but I would not go there a second time. read more

I get it. You're not into flea markets, yard sales, goodwill, or other treasure hunting. Doesn't matter. You'll regret not visiting this place at least once. Give yourself at least 3 hours, and go. Without knowing what happened, you'll find yourself in a terrarium of mid-west/southern life. Thing as they are, as they were, and as they shall be are represented here. Yes, you can find vintage (everything) here, hot wheels, trading cards, dolls, jewelry, riding leather, light-up shoes, and a mess of bedazzled products. Buy some of those things...but also look past them, and meet some of the excellent people running these booths. You'll learn a lot about yourself, and you'll get a rare glimpse into an actual healthy community of local entrepreneurs. This place is a store, a social club, a restaurant, a church, and a haven. Take advantage of the church pews around just to collect your thoughts before you move on. It's a lot. Like...a lot. Logistics: Bring water, good walking shoes, cash for purchases and parking, and maybe a backpack or larger bag to carry your goods in. I'll plan another trip to Dayton/Cinci just to spend more time here. read more

I feel like there aren't a lot of great reviews for this place but I thought it was really neat. It was much larger than I thought it would be. We walked around for hours. I will admit there was a decent amount of trash and booths filled with junk items. But if you don't mind digging and enjoy hunting, then you can get a really great deal on things! We did end up eating lunch there and besides the young girl at the chicken counter being incredibly rude, the food was decent. There was also live music. There was a record store in the outdoor portion that was probably my favorite store. They had everything you could imagine. The guy working the counter was super nice and I ended up buying a few records. There is also a really cool Elvis museum area that was interesting to see. This is definitely a place to at least checkout if you enjoy flea markets and treasure hunting! read more

If you like a good flea market then Traders World is for you ! There are multiple buildings all connected by a main hallway so you do not have to worry about the weather outside. Many vendors with used items and a lot with new stuff. You can find pretty much anything at Traders World. There is some good food selections too and the bathrooms were kept clean. We love to visit here and see what we can find. read more

This was our first trip to this large location. It is very large, I took a pic of the map of the lay out with over 16 buildings indoor and plenty of out door spaces to set up to sell or to shop at. The parking is $2 per car not per person. I didn't even know this place was here and it is only 8 miles or so from Kings Island, which I have visited year after year for decades. Never knew this jewel was hidden behind the trees of the interstate. This place is well organized and amazing, not a typical flea market by any sense! I loved all the signage and sayings and quotes hanging from the ceiling and the décor was great, made me feel old world charm. There is plenty of food stands, little oddity sitting here, there and about!! Food smelled great but we didn't give into the temptation because we already had lunch plans for Roosters near by. We will definitely go here again. They have old wagons, sleighs, trucks and cars on display inside and there was a section dedicated to Elvis with some of his memorabilia. Definitely recommend and Definitely will go again ourselves!!! Took us about 4 1/2 hrs to see everything and shop. We spent under $20 on our treasures including the parking but again no food!!! read more

When I was a kid we'd go to the flea markets several times a year. Never really bought much but it was a fun way to kick around on a Saturday. Now my husband and I go, maybe twice a year. We haven't been since covid so we thought it would be great getting back to Trader's World. Since the fire you can tell they've really cleaned this place up. Much nicer. This place is huge and there's plenty to see and bad, greasy food to eat. Compared to Ceaser's Creek flea market, this spot is a gem. It's unique with all it's giant jungle animals around- lots of photo ops. Be prepared to pay cash for parking. It's not much ($2 bucks, maybe?) Alot of the booths sell the same thing but that's what a flea market looks like. Just a fun way to kick around the day with family. read more

I hadn't been to Traders World in about a decade until this weekend. I quickly realized why I hadn't been here in a decade. There is SO much junk here. I am astounded by the fact that so many of the vendors felt like some of the goods being sold were still worthy of the price being asked (or any price for that matter). A lot of what is sold here just needs to be recycled. Between the musty smells of old goods and the "2020 Election was rigged" flags being sold by numerous vendors, I realized I had been transported to another world. There were blatantly racist t-shirts being sold and a lot of memories surfaced that I didn't care to revisit. There are some great vendors here for sure and I don't want this review to reflect poorly on them. Traders World is certainly a decent place to stretch your legs, people watch, and look around... It's also a sensory overload and I didn't necessarily need to spend a lot of time here. Parking is two dollars, which is about the value that I would place on the market. It's all over priced junk. Today I ended up wasting time going down to the guy I messaged on FB who said he had low priced cymbal stands. I arrived and he wanted $5 less than a brand new stand, and more than that for some. One lady wanted to sell me 7 small dog biscuits for $7. I can buy a half pound of jerky for that price. I've been twice and was severely disappointed each time. I've learned my lesson and won't give them a third chance. read more

Traders World has everything that you never knew that you didn't need! Plants, books, clothes, antiques, and random hoards to dig through, etc. Indoor and outdoor vendors offer a little bit of everything. I could have easily spent my money here, but held back to avoid excess luggage on my flight back to Washington. If you're not interested in buying random items, Traders World offers satisfying people watching, random statues for pictures, and food vendors. $2 parking fee. read more

And this is EXACTLY what my soul has been beckoning for - the hugest flea market I've ever seen in life. Full of old people in walkers and wheelchairs moving too slow to walk fast and families of toddlers dropping things so that you MUST look at the junk being sold in front of you. I saw: Fudge A honey bee curator with all products made of bee honey or venom A store that sold nice bamboo cotton sheets and duvets Records Old games Those preposterous huge fuzzy blankets from the 80s waterbeds with wolves and tigers on them LEGOs Hand mades and crafts Bath fitter Tasers and other miscellaneous stuff CAUTION - if we fail to patronize these flea markets all we will have are baron lands with Walmart's and I'm sure Walmart is looking into this space. Back in NY we have no more places like these because we caved to satan and allowed Sam Walton and his family to take over family owned booths and businesses like these. These are your community artists, business people, farmers, and collectors and the least you can do is appreciate them showing up for the weekend to provide cheap knick knacks and entertainment... there's treasures if you dig around there and if you miss people because all you do is sit on your device and ignore humans all day - stop and look into the eyes of the shop keepers and have an actual interaction with them. These are the humans who are holding on. Who don't want to work minimum wage for Sam .. but will work minimum wage for YOU. Long live Traders World. Not gonna lie..flea markets in general kind of freak me out. The whole flea market culture kind of freaks me out. The kind of people that frequent flea markets kind of freak me out. That being said, I love a good deal on an odd or hard to find item as much as anyone. Traders World vs that one down the road from it..the Pirate themed one (iKNOWright?). I don't know..I go to that Pirate one more often. No particular reason..they both have the same kind of stuff. Traders World has a couple really cool record shops within it, so these days that might give it a bit of an edge in my book. The place is clean enough (for a flea market) and the people that work within are nice enough (for..flea market people? ..no for real there are some genuinely nice cool people that sell there). That being said..I don't know..if this is your thing then I'm sure you'll enjoy Traders World well enough. If you're like me and it's not your thing..it's still an okay place to check out from time to time if you're in the area. (Two and a Half stars..like that TV show..but with stars..instead of men....that sounded weird..sorry.) read more

Trader's World has a lot of venders who sell a range of items from junk to antiques, clothing, purses, toys, used items, rocks, crystals, incense, handmade specialty items, art, food, and so much more. Outside is more like a yard sale with independent venders selling anything from fruits and vegetables to handcrafted yard sculptures. We have enjoyed the venders here for a long time. There really is something for everyone. What is disappointing at Traders World is their food selection inside for lunch and their restrooms. We have had fairly good food here before, and we attempted to get some for lunch today as well, but oh we were so disappointed that half of lunch ended up in the trash. We got a chicken strip dinner, fish dinner, coney dogs and French fries. The French fries were $2.10 for about 12-15 fries in a paper boat - and they had been under a heat lamp for a WHILE! The dinners came with cole slaw that tasted as if it had spoiled. Yuck. The fish was battered and fried but it was not good and the batter was still wet inside, giving it a weird floury texture so most of that went to waste. The chicken strips were basic. The worst part was that the food window and the food was cooked and orders were taken by kids that looked 15 or 16 years old. They acted as though they didn't care at all. The quality of the food and service was sub-par. Everything seemed to have been made from frozen. For $25, I would say that you should go somewhere else. McDonalds would have been a better experience than Trader's World's food court area. The restrooms are cramped, hot, and haven't been updated at all since 1980 (or so it seems). There are fluorescent lights above as well as a ceiling fan- weird! They are one step above an outhouse. But if you can grab something to eat on the way in and spare yourself a bad meal, and look past the yucky restroom, then you might enjoy the deals you can find at the venders. Good prices, nice people, and a nice AC or fan down the hallways make it worth a 3. read more

I'm only giving this place 2 stars as the one thing I got was at the front entrance. As we slowly made our way through it was apparent that mask are not enforced here, vendors and patrons. My daughter and I spent the day here yesterday and had a good time. It's large and air conditioned. There are vendors outside also but not as many as had been pre-pandemic. While there are more booths filled than our last visit - there are way too many sellers of cheap catalog-type items, toys and cheap knock-off purses. They are everywhere and some aisles are mainly comprised of those type of sellers. Where the attendants sit on their phones, completely disinterested in what they are selling or the people walking by. We just walk by those booths/tables. Unfortunately, that means there's not much shopping to be done. Still, it's a large place and you can spend a lot of time walking through the aisles. While it was good exercise and great people watching - it was a bit disappointing to see so many booths dedicated to cheap items no one seemed interested in. But - there are still some great sellers up there. The collectors, the people who love the hunt themselves and see the value in vintage, antique or unusual items. We found a few treasures yesterday and it was worth the trip and fun to chat with some interesting people. read more

Sometimes you gotta let "him" pick the days activities. And when he says let's go to the flea market, you cringe and suck it up and say "Okay" (but no more than once a year and only when you owe him big time) So off we go. It's big and dirty and filled with ugly. I mean ugly. In every form. But I keep saying to myself "remember how much you love Flea Market Flip" and trudge thru. Mostly this is resale $hit city. Having said all that, I did find the cutest two old grandma's who also hate the place and are getting out because of how it's has changed. I actually talked them down on a few pieces of art pottery and then talked them down further by "bundleing" (thank you American Pickers for teaching me that) which made them giggle. I added a Weller and a Roseville to my collection so the day wasn't a complete bust. Still, I'm hoping this was our last visit. We'll see. But not before next year at least. He's played that card. Not at all what I expected. Visited in the summer, so the indoor and outdoor sections were open. The vendors and what they offer varied widely. You'll find gently used furniture, custom made products for sale, personalizeable shirts hats necklaces, and mostly outside some stuff that has been in someone garage for decades that now has sat outside to collect dust and dirt. Once you venture to the indoor section, you can continue into multiple interconnected buildings choosing left, right or straight ahead every few hundred feet. If this is your type activity, enjoy. Pay attention to the signs and decor, they are funny. If not, you'll be screaming stop the ride as you'll want to flee. Note: $2/car entry fee. I've passed this place for years, with all of the Safari animals and fake palm trees you can see from the interstate. I was expecting the flea markets with unorganized booths and cardboard boxes of junk. This place is far from a junk flea market. It's well organized with little booths and a huge food area. There's also stalls outside, but we didn't have time for that section. It's easy to get overwhelmed as the footprint is huge. We stayed in the indoor sections only and that took hours to walk through. There's something for everyone here. From clothing to toys to handbags and custom crafts, you'll be sure to find something unique. I came in with a few ideas of items that have been hard to find and actually found them at decent prices. I got some bowl cozies, one even in a Harry Potter print, and a wood trashcan cover with a drawer and trashcan that pulls out. And we got some dip mixes that seemed to be really popular. I didn't try any food, but there were burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, brats and fried chicken. Oh and ice cream. My only complaint is that it is a little dark looking and the bathrooms could be updated. They were clean but really old. It's a cool place to check out if you're into flea markets. read more

There are so many cool and unique things at Trader's World as well as everyday things you can get at great prices. The fried chicken is delicious and so is the pizza when it is fresh. One could easily get all his/her Christmas shopping done in one day there! There are lots of toys, games, jewelry, memorabilia, and many other items to choose from. If you don't want to spend a lot of money at the outlet mall in Monroe, go an extra 3 minutes down the highway to trader's world and you'll find a lot of designer/off-brands for a lot cheaper! You can really save money here, just don't always expect purses, and shirts to be the real designer thing. Beggars can't be choosers after all. For example, I got got 6 fake croc charms crystals for 6$ that would've even +$40 by croc charm standards (crocs only sell 3 fake charm per packet for 20$, insane right? And you can get 6 for only 6$!) Also pre-warning, some vendors do still confederate flags and shirts. Which should be against traders world policy for vendors, which I hope they change for the future! But the vendors are typically really polite. I see a lot of people come here of different cultures all the time. If you go here I hope you have just as good of a time as I did! read more

I used to love this place back in the day, so I figured I would visit again. I quickly realized that my opinion of this place was through the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia. Either that or the place has really gone downhill. Many empty booths, and the vast majority of the other stands sold the same kind of merchandise. You can walk a few rows and experience every type of store the place has to offer. Not to get political, but there were several booths selling Trump merchandise. I go to places to get my mind off of the news and politics, not to have it shoved in my face! The dining hall in the middle had dim lighting, an odd smell, and a man singing an incredibly off key cover of Randy Newman. Couldn't get out of that area faster, especially when his next song was an attempt at Boston. One extra star because I did find a stand that had some good deals on vinyl records. Found a few harder to find 80s cuts and got out of the stand under $20. If they had another store location I would definitely visit them, but one record stand is not enough for me to go back to Trader's World. read more

In the last 20 years Traders world went from the worlds best flea market to a complete disappointment. Most of the good venders and bargains are gone. I'll stick to thrift stores, yard sales, auctions and Ebay. read more

It's a big flea market. These are the type of fleas that are like their own little, weird city of flea market dwellers who sell their goods and seemingly partly live there as they all know each other and gossip about so-and-so. These types have a larger amount of the bulk, China-made junk that I hate. I don't need knock-off sharpies or cheap socks. Fewer of people actually selling their junk. Those that are selling their junk feel it's all priceless so nothing is very discounted. We had fun regardless. Might go back annually but wouldn't go frequently. It took us likely about 60-90 minutes to browse. It's certainly an experience and amusing if nothing else. read more

I would have rated 5 stars, but I'm reducing to 3 because of "the incident". The managers of this facility would love for you to come and have a good time, but they don't want you to remember it. My soured attitude aside, it really is a decent flea market and should certainly be a must-do for any flea market enthusiast who might have a good chunk of a day to spend. A good majority of the booths are the size of a small store and one can easily find vendors from those who sell yard sale items to those selling antiques. This mall has followed a growing trend among many flea markets by having many vendors selling new items. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it reduces that change of a visitor finding some sort of treasure that couldn't be found via the Internet. With a center main aisle and symmetrical wings, any aerial image shows off the large size of this flea market. The incident: In short, I was taking pics for both Yelp and my personal, road trip scrapbook and I was asked to stop by a facilities manager. I guess what ruffled my feathers is how I was approached in the first place and the fact that I was unsuccessful in convincing the guy that I was not a spy sent by Macy's to help them get ideas for converting their department stores into flea markets. The manager approached me without identification and was asking me 20 questions. Who was I? Where did I came from? I thought he was just a fella making small talk, but when the questions started getting personal, I was about to respond with a "Hey buddy, what's it to ya?" Luckily, I figured out who he was and what it was all about. I wish he had just stated who he was and what he wanted in the first place... my impression of him would have been so much better. Jeers to this manager for a few things during our conversation: * He has not heard of the "Kentucky Derby". * He did not seem to understand the words "road trip". * He was confused when I mentioned I took pictures on a vacation at Disney World. I'm not sure if he didn't understand why I would want to or that he didn't believe Disney would allow it. BTW, at Disney World, an entity shrouded in intellectual property policies, not only can you take pictures, the cast members encourage it. Imagine that. Dear Trader's World: Yes, I have added some sarcasm and I do understand that a certain amount of privacy should be provided for your vendors. However, if you set up shop next to an interstate, raise giant billboards, put giant giraffes on your roof, and lean in the direction of being a tourist trap (a good trap), you can certainly expect some cameras. You should be pleased that your place makes people want to take pictures. In regard to stealing ideas, I don't think the marketing genius of some of the vendors' "buy one get one free" promotions is anything that has to be stolen. After all, it's not a test lab at Apple Computers or Coca-Cola, it's a flea market. In any event, I will post what pictures I do have so that it might assist fellow Yelpers thinking about visiting.
