After 8 months of staying there, our son became green belt (I thought that was impressive, till I had the opportunity of watching a belt testing - not even close to a professional experience). We chose to take him out of this academy, and took him to a different academy to get him evaluated to restart fresh. The new academy told us he was at white belt level (3 levels below green). This was a waste of money; we told the owner we wanted to rescind the contract and he said that, despite us being disappointed, we still had to pay the 3 months early cancellation fee; watch carefully that contract before you sign it. That happened as well to a friend of us; she got seriously sick and forgot their family was paying but was not sending their kids there anymore. Once she got cured and realized this, asked if part of the money could be given back, and the answer was no, and they still had to pay the early cancellation fee. I told the owner that I would not let go of this and I would inform any parent I could and that is what I am doing so that you won't have to write yourself this kind of review. If you want your kids to become seriously good at TKD, you should consider other schools around Sugar Land / Houston. There are plenty of profession environment where your kids will enjoy the seriousness of commitment and the results of hard work.

Right when you walk in there is the check-in desk on the right and two treadmills on the left. There are also Monster & Reign energy drinks for you to purchase if you forget your preworkout. If I recall correctly, Iron Cowboy has 6 racks and 5 deadlift platforms. The barbells, plates, and many of the equipment are all brand new! I also love the details on the equipment featuring Deathgrip Derek's logo. As for accessories, it is a little limited but you can definitely get the basics done with the machines available. It does get a little crowded in the evening time since that's when most people work out but the members are all kind enough to work in together. Speaking of kind, I got to meet the owners Derek and Maggy- they were both very welcoming and I am super excited for their ideas on expanding the gym in the near future!
