Beechy's took the transmission apart again to examine what happened. A few days later, they informed me that they think it was their error and they're going to fix it at no cost to us. A used transmission was quickly ordered and put into the vehicle. I told the manager, if we were working with most any other mechanic shop, it is very unlikely we would have ever been treated with such care. Auto shops seldom admit errors and leave the consumer with the heavy cost associated with big repairs such as this one. We were sent to Valley View Repair from a recommendation from the motel we were staying at. The mechanic took time out of his busy schedule to diagnose the problem which was spot on. We mentioned that we were from out of town and did not even have a vehicle to use. They said that they were scheduled for the next week but were kind enough to fit us in the next day and even gave us a loaner car so we could enjoy the day in Amish country. It was repaired by mid afternoon and the repair bill was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this repair facility to anyone in the Berlin Ohio area.
