Basically the phone works both ways. I paid loan off and told CU to issue the check since loan was completed. About a month later, late April asked where my title was? Then the finger pointing came out. To date I have well over 150 hours of my time invested in getting my title. Called CU, Dealership, local DMV and even drove to Raleigh to get my title. Here I am, 5 full months later still without title. I have relocated to another state and the local DMV is involved, and they were told the title would be overnighted to them so I can get local plates a week after receipt. This whole process seems a bit odd, even though in the sales contract I paid several hundred dollars to the dealership to perform the process. I kept asking today about this but crickets in return. From the start there was no dealership ownership in the issue or accountability but plenty of we don't have it, check here or there, and I did At my time and expense. However as a former retired laboratory manager I made my people after they vented, provide a positive attribute to the problem, mine, the Service department performed well.

Instead, I felt like I was being treated as though I was trying to scam the store or obtain something for free. The employees were dismissive, rude, and unwilling to listen to my concerns regarding the defective part. This was after commercial hours. I understand that stores have policies regarding returns and warranty claims, but there is a professional way to handle those situations. Being treated with suspicion and disrespect simply because a part was defective is unacceptable. Drove 4 hours to pick up a 4 runner that was supposed to run great with no issues except it needed…read morenew tires. He seemed to be a nice guy, and was telling me what great reviews he has gotten from his buyers... Me being a trusting person took his word about the deal and the vehicle condition.......When I got there, the first thing I noticed was a huge crack in the windshield all the way across it. I took it for a test drive and it ran terrible, stumbling and bucking back and forth, could not even get it up to 50 mph. I drove it about a mile and was able to get it back to the TNT Automotive parking lot. Went back inside and told him that that thing runs like crap. He told me his mechanic that had many years of experience had checked it out, fixed a few things and took it for test drive and it ran great... So the owner wanted to see for himself and drove it with me in the passenger side. The same thing happened when he drove it as well. We got back to the dealership and tried to come up with a solution as to what to do next. I said I did not want it and he said since I had already paid for it, there was nothing he could do.... Then he offered to give me a $600 refund in order to have a mechanic fix whatever the problem was with it. I still did not want to take it and he said that was all he could do. So I told him if he refunded me $500, then I would take it. Yes, I did not even take him up on the $600 refund, I only asked for $500 back. He promised me he would send $500 back via Zelle from his bank. So I rented a uhaul trailer and hauled it back 4 hours back home. The next day, I let him know that I had requested the $500 refund through Zelle, and he said "Alrighty Sir"....That was the last time I've heard from him!!! After numerous messages to him over the next 2 weeks, he still did not get back to me. BUYER'S BEWARE Update - It has been Almost 2 months since I was promised a $500 refund from TNT Automotive L.L.C. and the owner has not send the money and won't answer my messages. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!
