I have seen a young kid with a mustache consistently treat specific customers in a very rude way…read more.. not looking them in the eyes, when they say thank you he doesn't say anything back. He brushes them off then interacts with other customers. Today was the second time I saw this. He's super rude, at first I thought it was just that one particular person, but he did it to someone else who looked exactly the same. Prejudice in the workplace is not a cool thing. I guess I have to drive farther for another location, I can't support that type of business.

I stopped by Staples in Simsbury to print some end of the school year materials. One of the items I…read moreneeded to get printed was on a flash drive. There was a very nice gentleman named Adam who printed these colorful cards for me. They had a watermark, that he asked if I'd like it removed, I told him yes please and he did. I was very happy with the service I received from Adam. The other thing I needed printed was some pictures off my email. Sadly Adam was gone, a young girl who looked to be about 17 took his place. I emailed them the pictures and I explained to her that the pictures should be small, and several of them can fit on one page. She said they "can't do that". There were a lot of pictures, that were also printed on fancy hard stock paper, that was completely unnecessary. It is so wasteful to print one small picture in the center of a full sheet of paper. The total came to $68.00, that's completely ridiculous. She called the manager over, who offered to give me $10.00 off. That's still robbery. I didn't get the pictures. Teacher's personal budgets don't expand very far as it is. Adam was very friendly, personable and helpful. The other associate was none of those things. At Staples you can find anything you may need for your office or classroom.

"I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign"…read more(Ace of Base) So, when you're the Convention Chair for an upcoming conference and your budget is as tight as a rusty bolt, and you need to get the best price for 125 copies of a saddle stitched double sided program with ten pages and 20 sides of full color, with a heavier stock for the front and back pages, what do you do? Well, you'll probably do what we did and get some competitive bids, right? Four bids to be precise. The large national office supply chain came in close to $10 a copy, a small print shop up in Greenfield, MA came in around $7 a copy, a new shop in the Farmington Valley came in around $4 after lots of questions, and Signs Plus Prints confidently and professionally came in at $3.30. So that explains why we went with Signs Plus Prints who did a fantastic job for us. Hats off to Alex Youmans, Chris Aubins, and Maggie for their outstanding responsiveness and communication, that combined for my excellent customer service experience. The minute we walked into their shop, we had a good impression because we saw four individuals fanned out across the premises busily engaged in projects. We saw finished print and poster orders all over the place waiting for pick up, and some of the customers were heavy hitters like the Talcott Mountain Music Festival, Easter Seals, and a few area road races and charity golf tournaments. I placed my order on a Thursday morning; looked at a sample on Monday, and the order was ready for pickup on Wednesday. It came out great, with vibrant color, thick covers, and a sleek binding. If you ever have a need for, or would like to save some serious dough, on your next project involving signs, banners, printing, engraving, wearables, or even vehicle wraps, I strongly suggest you check these guys out. They did a FANTASTIC Five Star Job for me.

Two custom made Memorial Stickers for my husband and I(our 1 and only daughter was tragically taken from us 9/4/23) I went in with two examples on my phone from Amazon & Etsy. Chris, first thing that very rudely came out of his mouth "I can't do for that price" I kindly said, of course I realize that we wanted to support small local business. He then said "you only want two!?" I did, and informed him would order more for family members. However husband and I wanted first. He then told me they would be $20.00 each. I said that's fine(I think he thought that price would "scare" me away. Then he scoffs and tells me I'm better off getting online. Mind you he never even took into consideration the Memorial reason of the stickers. I was so taken back I walked out. Terribly upset. Signs Plus more like Signs Minus. Terrible customer service. I hope future patrons of this establishment take this review into consideration.....look elsewhere.
