1-Star Review for Lofts by the Lake!…read more As a 51-year-old woman seeking a peaceful home, I rented a 1 bedroom Unit at Lofts by the Lake. Unfortunately, StoneMark Management's actions turned my once peaceful stay into a nightmare. Before my lease even ended, their staff entered my apartment, started painting, and removed all my remaining personal belongings, weeks before my lease ended! They had the audacity to claim I authorized this because they entered my apartment and saw my keys on the counter. Additionally, for nearly two months, the freezer in my apartment was non-functional despite my repeated maintenance requests. On one occasion while I was out of town and still waiting for them to replace the unit, the Management instructed me to remove food so they could switch it out. I explained I was away and if it was okay for them to switch out the minimal items. They assured me this was fine and that they would take care of it. Upon my return, not only did they not change my fridge, but they failed to communicate with me that they weren't able to touch my food. That's fair, but had they informed me, I very easily could have asked a friend or neighbour to come get the remaining groceries and supplements I still had in the barely cold fridge. I contacted them right away through phone, their onsite app, and text messages and not one management staff got back to me to finally come and replace my fridge. I was left without a unit for a total of almost two months. I contacted StoneMark, including their manager Evita, for weeks, but they ignored my calls, dismissed my claims, and falsely stated I approved their actions. I reached out to the owners and still nothing. Their negligence cost me thousands of dollars and immense stress. Other tenants have shared similar frustrations, noting the property's decline due to their lack of management. I'm heartbroken to pursue small claims court, but their refusal to resolve this leaves me no choice. I urge the owner to investigate StoneMark's practices to restore the property's integrity and prevent others from enduring this treatment. I'm open to discussing a fair resolution to recover all my losses but so far, all management admits to is coming in to my apartment and breaking my lease, admitting fault, yet will not cover my losses. I am unfortunately feeling the need to write this to help others and save them the stress that is now happening at Lofts by the Lake.

Lofts of Greenville has a lot going for it, but it is definitely a different style of apartment…read moreliving that you have to be open minded enough to properly enjoy. Let's go through the pros and cons first. Pros- the amenities are off the charts. LOG has an amazing pool, which is very relaxing, with too notch furniture, a covered patio with grills, refrigerators for food & beers, an outdoor tv area, and plenty of seating. There are two gyms, a cardio gym and a CrossFit gym, which during the warm seasons will host free CrossFit classes for residents. There's also a sizeable pond which is home to many ducks and geese, that also features a fire pit. A community garden and a lounge with pool table, shuffle board, and much more are also available to all residents. The units are spacious and modern, with even the two bedroom units running around 1200 sq ft, which for couples is plenty of space. All told, not a bad setup at all. The cons begin with the parking situation. It can be tough to find a space sometimes, and you're generally out of luck when it's raining if you didn't get a good spot the night before! Like any apartment, the walls are a bit thin and you can sometimes hear your neighbors, especially when someone is having a party. You will also know when your upstairs neighbor is home, but it's not like you live below a production of Riverdance either. This place is VERY pet friendly, so if you don't care for dogs this may not be the place for you. Honestly, the cons are limited compared to the pros. So more pros I've thought about- there is also a dog park on site, so you'd little buddies will love it here. The complex is located next to the swamp rabbit trail, so if that's your thing, you have great access. There's also valet trash available, which is convenient, and maintenance is very responsive to requests and they are the nicest guys ever. Rent for a 2 bedroom is going to run around 1800 a month, but includes water, cable & internet so it's not a bad deal. All told, this is a pretty cool place to live, just like i said, if you're used to quiet 24/7 and never seeing neighbors, it may not be your speed. Lofts of Greenville is ideal for younger people and couples, but introverts and those who want total privacy may not find this to be their cup of tea. 4/5, would rent here again.

Good afternoon TriBridge,…read more I have been trying to get in contact with your office here at the lofts of Greenville. your community manager has been out and your leasing associate has been doing her best to reach out to Amy, the regional but has had no luck. I made sure to send a letter with 30day notice to at I would be vacating and this afternoon I was handed a notice that I am being taken to court to vacate the property which makes no sense since I followed the rules and have the email in writing to what has transpired. I am sorry you do not have a community manager but I do not think that having any clear communication from leadership is the way to handle things and I have not been able to get any information. Please feel free to reach out to me as your reps have my information and I already mentioned I would be vacating by the end of this week a couple of weeks ago via email.
