Nick, in particular, has been so encouraging and helpful to not just my son, but the whole family. He has taught our son how to breakdown all aspects of baseball and build up from there. While our child had to overcome some confidence issues moving to Tallahassee from a small town, Nick took special interest to really build trust in our son's own ability and talents, which has transfered to the field. Clearly, a timely response to paying customers by management is an issue judging by all these reviews....... ***I'm now being hounded to pay a $25 fee from last April, or the bill will be sent to collections. The manager Josh was extremely rude and not helpful. Avoid this place at all costs, you seem to get treated like trash if you don't fit their mold. Why am I being hounded for a fee that you've waived for other members? I was told to give my card information over the phone so they can charge me, and got nothing but sass and attitude from the manager. Extremely poor customer service seems to be the go to here.

I had been essentially bed-ridden for 18 months, primarily with serious nerve damage from a fall down a long flight of steps. After many surgeries, my pain management team gave me a choice of 10 physical therapists. I stayed with my first choice for 6 months. Although highly rated, they did it "by the book" without regard to my personal situation. And it was not a private session: A physical therapist would get me started on an exercise and then get the next person started. What's more, even with medical insurance, my out-of-pocket costs were very high. Over time, I visited every place on the surgeon's list, tried some, and was eventually referred to Fit and Functional by a family member who is excellent at medical research. She recognized that Sherman and his staff had the exceptional training I needed. My situation could not be handled with a cookie-cutter approach. I have been with Fit and Functional for 10 months. First, they worked on my balance issues so I would stop falling even on a level surface. They have steadily helped me regain strength and stamina. I go twice a week and work with a private physical therapist who is terrific. I could not ask for anyone better - this includes Sherman and anyone else I've worked with. They understand MY body and what I need to do. Sherman diagnosed my lymph node problems before the medical doctors did and he adjusted my sessions accordingly. I am steadily improving and look forward to my sessions there, which, by the way, cost less than the recommended physical therapists.
