Having Noel as a personal trainer has improved my strength and comfortability in the gym. With his guidance and support I have been able to do more physically now than I could in the months before restarting again. He is patient, funny, and passionate about getting you where you want to be. The gym itself is unique: Mr. Pickles the security guard, The resident Kitties Lestat, Luis, and Nugget along with some fur gym regulars ( see photos!). This is the only gym I've been able to enjoy a good pump, great music selection, and fur friends that cheer you on in their adorable ways! Inquire with Noel if your fur baby can join your session! Happy sweating, longevity, and hydrations to you and yours!

Inside, the gym regularly smells like sewage, and it's impossible to ignore. Even worse is the vibe. The owner's behavior is uncomfortable to witness. She is always moving, always cleaning, always trying to keep the space together, even when some members clearly do not do their part to clean up after themselves or respect the facility. It does not go unnoticed. She handles a lot with consistency and care, and I really hope management recognizes how much she contributes to the overall experience here. The early morning staff deserves appreciation for the work they do to keep the gym running and welcoming before most people have even started their day.

Facilities: The bathrooms are consistently filthy. Persistent bad smell, faucets that barely function, and when they do work it's often scalding hot water with no way to adjust it. There are never paper towels in the bathroom, despite the workout floor always being fully stocked. Equipment breaks and stays broken for weeks at a time before anyone repairs it. And on any given day, you can expect to spend several minutes searching the entire gym for basic 5lb or 10lb barbell plates because they're missing from where they belong. Billing practices: This is what pushed me to write a review. When I renewed my membership recently, the employee quoted me rates that never mentioned a $70 annual fee. It only showed up buried in the fine print of the contract PDF after I'd already paid. He also promised two buddy passes and only issued one. I had to go back and specifically call him out on it to get the second one. The fee, he wouldn't budge on. I'm keeping my membership because there isn't a better alternative near me, but I want other people to go in with eyes open: confirm the total cost in writing before you sign anything, and don't assume verbal promises will be honored.

This is real custom training, not one-size-fits-all workouts. Christian designs creative, personalized programs that support my weight loss goals while being mindful of my scoliosis and an injured knee. What really sets him apart is his focus and intention. He's fully present during every session and never distracted--his attention is always on me, my form, and my progress. Each workout builds on the last and is adjusted based on how I'm progressing and how my body is feeling. He challenges me in a smart, safe way and always has alternatives ready when needed. It's clear he's extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about my long-term success. On top of that, he's so much fun to work with, and the music and lighting create an energizing atmosphere that makes every workout enjoyable. I always leave feeling stronger and supported. Highly recommend!

He pays attention to what both of us need individually instead of forcing us to do the same thing or go at the same pace. The workouts feel thoughtful and tailored, and I appreciate that he'll adjust things on the fly if something doesn't feel right or if we're having an off day. The space is clean, comfortable, and not intimidating. It feels like you can just show up as you are. I can also change the lights or the music to customize the space. It's a little far for us but definitely worth the drive. Free parking on site too. Overall, training together has been fun for us as a couple, and we leave feeling challenged in a good way instead of wiped out or discouraged. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want a supportive studio without the ego vibe.

I have had a great time with all the instructors at Fulcrum. They hit the sweet spot between encouraging and over the top cheerleading. They all know their stuff and give good corrections. The workouts are varied in format, music, and focus so I didn't get bored. I had a serious injury and they modified exercises for me while I progressed back to full weight bearing and impact. The instructors I regularly look for are Jai, Freddy, Cheryl, and Dakayla. I loved Rodney but he moved. Space: The gym looks like a gym, not a health spa. I like this. It is clean and well maintained. There is an outdoor platform and a garage door which has been great for COVID necessary ventilation. COVID: They took it seriously [sanitation, masking, ventilation] and even let me know when I may have been exposed [pre-vaccine era]. Payment: I had a few hiccups with injuries and life changes and they were gracious about suspending my membership until I could return. Women: There are tons of badass women who work out here. Classes are dominated by women. Cons: I cannot really think of any. For first time boot camp/weight lifters, I would recommend doing their health assessment/intro interview. They will show you some moves there. Don't be intimidated by the acronyms or moves - everyone can do them and pros will give you good individual attention if you need it.

Folks were working out in a big open room but I couldn't figure out if anyone actually worked there. A gal came over asking if I was looking for someone. I told her I wanted to get some info about the place. At this time a man entered who I'm guessing is the owner and was happy to give me a "tour" of the place and tell me about the gym. The first room is an open room with mirrors, weights and bikes. Second room is a boxing ring and leads to more boxing stuff I guess and a cold plunge. The owner spent a great deal of time talking about the cold plunge and how, afterwards "you'll feel like you did coke." Um...ok....not sure that's the selling point you think it is. There is one more room that is for classes and has lots of padding. I'm guessing for martial arts. The membership is $169 a month, at least that's what I was told by the owner. Yeah, no, I'm gonna pass.
