Paul helped me from day 1 where we didn't even use the gas pedal, just coasting, to my driver's license exam. I did pass on my first try! He gave tips and tricks that would help for the exam as well as driving in real life. He was firm/assertive when needed but I also felt safe and comfortable as a terrified driver. He made me step outside of my comfort zone. He loaned me his sunglasses when I couldn't see. Because of Paul's help, I am able to work jobs that involve driving. I can now drive giant diesel trucks and haul trailers for work. Yesterday I drove 420 miles in one day. While I will never be a carefree driver, I attribute my driving success to Paul and First Pass Driving. I am eternally grateful for his help.

Also the fact that he refused to address any of the points I brought up, but instead decided to shift blame onto me in a somewhat generic manner. He gave typical responses for why someone wouldn't do well, but can't bring up specific examples. He didn't even pick pronouns when addressing me. It seriously makes me question if he even knows who he's talking to. Also how many students have had similar experiences. Is the problem truly them? Or is he just making up excuses to cover his rear?

I give 1 star to their office staff and responsiveness and 5 star to my instructor, Connie. I bought my first class online and called them to schedule. They told me they'd call me back and no one did. I called the next day and got the same response, again no one called me. I went to their office 2 days later and they told me they were on holiday as a reason why nobody returned my calls. If I had been told that they'd be out of office and I had to wait a couple of days, that'd be fine. But they kept telling me they'd return my calls and never did. Similar thing happened with scheduling the road test as well. I called, either no one answered or I was told I will be called back. I had to send a nasty message to finally receive a call and get my test scheduled. On the other hand, my instructor Connie was awesome. She was encouraging and always explaining what to pay attention to during driving. On the exam site, she went over a couple of things we should be careful about. I got my license after the exam. In terms of learning how to drive, it's a good place, if you want to deal with the office staff.

That all changed when I found Alamo Driving School. Mohammed was able to ease my apprehension about driving after one lesson. He has an uncanny ability to know exactly what's holding you back as a driver and give you the tools to fix it yourself. He actually seems to believe in his students and pushes them to succeed. I'm now a licensed driver thanks to Alamo Driving School and I'll always remember the driving tips I've picked up from this place. Recommended: Buy the 6 hours behind the wheel and have them drop you off for your drivers test. This worked out amazingly for me and I've heard the same from everyone else I know who took Alamo Driving School.

On the day of my appointment (9:00) no one showed up, it was snowing so I though, maybe they are late. I waited until 9:30 when the office opened and said "I had an appointment and no one is here yet, just wanted to check in". The women on the phone had a very rude tone and said. "Well your payment didn't go through so we weren't going to send someone with our payment. We called you and your husband and left you both voice messages." I let her know that I didn't have any missed calls or voice messages and that my husband did have a missed call from them but no voice message. She said "well I know there were messages because I personally left them, so we weren't going to send anyone over. We gave you until yesterday to call us back, and because your payment didn't go through, we aren't going to schedule anything with you" I responded saying,"I can see why you would think I wasn't interested if you said you called and left messages and didn't hear from me, however, no messages were left so I had no idea you still needed payment or what you cancelled my appointment". [I was trying to be understanding, while still being confused about these so called message]. I continued and asked if we can move forward with scheduling something in the future. She said "Well you would need to pay the missed appointment and pay for a new appointment and because your card didn't go through, I REALLY doubt you would want to do that". I said, "I was willing to pay for both appointments but because your tone was rude and condescending and the customer service your providing me is uncalled for" I added "when I called and scheduled my first appointment, the man I spoke with was wonderful" then she said, "yeah, he called and left the message with your husband" so I responded "BUT you said you personally left both messages". She continued to be rude to me and speaking to me as if I didn't have the funds to pay them so how could I possible be interested in them. Midway, do yourself a favor and get a new "office manager"! I had a specific pan style in mind that I was not able to find online from Nordic Ware at the time of shopping and was actually able to purchase it at the outlet! If you don't mind looking through inventory while shopping there is a fair amount that are a good price. Even the pans that had deformities were in pretty solid condition. The staff was helpful and provided information regarding best type of care of the pans and how to cook with their cookware. I love that Nordic Ware is an American made brand that makes high quality bakeware. If I am in the area and in need of cook ware I would definitely come again.

I visited in mid-November, so they had autumn and Halloween things on mark-down and quite a few new winter pieces out. The folks who work here are the nicest people and they actually wanted to help me save money---how awesome is that?! I'd found a few pieces I wanted, and one of the ladies who worked there said, "I think we have those in the back," and took me to where they have the yellow tag seconds and clearance items. Here's a helpful hint for if you shop in this area: the uglier pans are apparently the ones for industrial use, meaning they are not pretty on the outside but the interior is triple-coated and will last a lot longer because they are designed for heavy use. Now, with all the goods in this section, you have to look carefully for scratches and dings, but I found things in good condition that were about $20 less than their 'pretty' counterparts across the room. The factory store doesn't sell goods online. They are all about the treasure hunt mentality. I certainly found some treasures!
