What a delightful place and obviously family run. Though some standouts for sure - everything you see on the table was delicious. Although it was 10:30pm on 22.12.12 and the town seemed sleepy, we were recommended to go Cabare which was owned by them (with a 10% discount card in hand!). The restaurant dining area was on the top floor and as soon as we walked in, we were amazed to see that most of the (long) tables were full and there was a live singer singing traditional turkish songs!! We were seated right next to him and with the fantastic mezze, raki +Efes beer plus the melodious tunes+great voice, it was the best ever "WelcomeToTurkeyForThe1stTime" one could ask for!! The menu includes traditional Turkish cuisine. The chicken kebab however appears to be the star as most in our group were slightly disappointed with the beef option. Service was kind and fast, and the patio is lovely to escape the crowded street front. Pide we picked was chicken and cheddar - lightly tomato sauced in a pizza like way, and not shown because our foursome demolished it before I could snap a photo! That tells you everything.
