I had an issue with my eye and was trying to get a basic appointment but whenever I called the phone number there WAS NOT EVEN A DEDICATED appointment maker. Almost impossible to reach them to make an appointment, even for my husband who had been released from hospital with severe heart failure.... could NOT get a follow up appt booked. And when I did get my initial physical I had about 5 or so referrals recommended by the doc and I was told I'd get the referrals sent through the mail... waited several months and nothing was ever sent. Inconsistent care, inability to reach appointment coordinator, and overall lack of follow through for referrals made me have to seek care elsewhere.

My mom loves him. She can tell him whatever she needs to say as they speak the same language. When I call the front office for a referral, they have it done right away. I like it that they make my mom come back every three months for a follow up. About the appearance of his office, it is okay. The room has folders, it is "old school" style. Well I found out I was pregnant through 2 home pregnancy test and in order to see an OBGY I have to get a referral from my Dr. I called to make an appointment they gave it to me a week from the day I called. The nurses/front office they were friendly. So when is time to see the Dr. Edward Jocson he just asked me some routine question. And then he told me that he was going to do a blood test To confirm my pregnancy and to also give me an estimate of how many weeks I was. My appointment was on Monday and the results were going to come back on a Thursday.When Thursday got here he gave me a phone call and he told me that the lab results came out normal he explained to me all of the test that they have done with my blood and they said that it was everything normal.So when I asked him how about my pregnancy results what about that were you able to confirm my pregnancy and able to find out how many weeks I am.He just said "Oh we didn't get those back I don't know why" and a whole questions came into my head.. sooo why was the blood taken? Why didn't you get them if that was the WHOLE purpose of the blood test. Anyway all he said was "our insurance manager will call you next week to refer you to a OBGY and we will let them take care of it" MORAL OF THE STORY... HE CHARGED INSURANCE FOR A TEST THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE TO CONFIRM A PREGNANCY WHEN THEY COULD OF JUST DONE A PEE TEST FOR CHEAPER. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a medical office. There was very little communication about the delay, and it seemed like no one respected patients' time. When you're bringing sick children to a doctor's office, the last thing you should have to deal with is sitting in a hot waiting room while everything runs behind schedule. I will never schedule another appointment here and would strongly encourage parents to consider other pediatric offices if they have the option.
