I got there around 9:50 am and the line was long. I'm sure people were lined up long before then…read morebut their doors don't open until 10am. They ask that you bring your own bags and I saw that a lot of people brought their own carts/wagons. Once it hit 10am, the line started to move rather quickly. It was my first time there and hopefully it won't be my last (I had a hard time by myself with my little one and stroller). I'm not going to lie. I was overwhelmed but feeling blessed because I was finally able to make my way here. The folks who were handing out the food were very kind and pleasant. I had to fill out some paperwork being it was my first time but I didn't realize that they also sold furniture and they take in donations but only on Wednesdays I believe. The value and quality of the food to me, were priceless. I got lots of meat and two cartons of eggs. I'm very thankful that someone shared this place with me and that I was able to go this past weekend.

The pool facility is actually better than I expected with some deck space and a small bleacher area. It seems the coaches and swimmers are complaining about the air quality inside and I see several people with watery eyes so that isn't too good. Not too uncommon for a pool, but not good for competition. It does seem like a cool facility to have for the community though. Lots of pictures of recreational sports leagues from cheer leading, football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, etc. I'm sure there's lots of military families in the area that this is a God send to have. The bathrooms are the biggest complaint here. They could use some upgrades like doors on the stalls. Most people like to have a little bit of privacy when using the comode as opposed to going out in the open, but minor details I guess.

Computers for soldiers' use, a small movie theater, a separate kids room to watch movies, read books, and play! A VR room, although I haven't seen anyone use it yet, rather I've been lucky enough to use it for a quiet space to work. Several rooms to play pool and ping pong. A small workout room that is typically empty, but probably only good for 1-2 people at a time. I haven't gone in all of the rooms to see what else there is! Better yet, they offer several free events to build community and connect with others, and also serve free lunch daily. The volunteer workers are always so welcoming and delightful throughout as well.
