After the job was done, I spoke to the owner Chris Wyman about the many issues I was not happy about. Including: absolutely nothing was covered with a tarp when they painted so paint got on all surfaces including all over my leather couch (see photo), carpet, dressers, countertops, and flooring. When I explained this to the owner, he took zero responsibility and blamed all of the paint splatter on his assistant who he claimed he had fired in the past. I know his assistant wasn't the only one who did not protect the surfaces with a tarp because there was paint splatter on various surfaces in rooms that the owner Chris also painted. The painters did not tape back the carpet that was on the steps either. When painting the baseboard, they painted on walls I had already painted myself. The professionalism of this company is also poor. We had a security system in the home that should have been obvious to these painters. These painters decided to talk about myself while my home security system could hear them. Saying "yeah she's complaining about everything" when I had only asked them to paint a small area in the bathroom that wasn't covered with the first coat of paint and of course swearing like sailors (which I guess could be expected between two men). While the owner gave me a whole $50 off of the cost to paint most of the house, it took me 5 hours to clean up after these painters. I had to scrub all of the surfaces that paint splatter covered. Imagine trying to scrape 1000's of paint splatter bits off of your floors with your finger nail for hours on end and not being able to remove all of it. Cutting bits out of your carpet because of white paint droplets all over it. The disrespect for their customers and the customer's belongings truly amazed me. One of the worst company's I've ever dealt with.

I have to say, we couldn't be more happy with both the end result as well as how DreamMaker approached the entire process from start to finish. The DreamMaker team were really friendly, professional, and responsive from day one until, well, weeks after they'd finished when we had some questions about care and maintenance. They were very transparent with their pricing up front and also provided a complete product list of everything they had installed. When they were working inside of our home, all of the workers that came to visit took immense care. They did a fantastic job in covering up all of our carpet they were walking on, covering up the floors and other surfaces in our bathrooms that they were working in. They kept everything really clean and we were impressed at the attention to detail (the DreamMaker team found minor imperfections that the wife and I missed to correct in the final walk through, far more critical of their own work than we were!). I only have one complaint. They did such a good job with the new bathroom in the basement, it makes our master bathroom look bad!!! (Good problem to have in the end) Pricing wise, we had gotten quotes from multiple vendors earlier on in this process. Considering how top notch of an overall project experience we had, I can pretty happily say that none of them came close to matching the value DreamMaker brought. There is absolutely no incentive to correct their problems. The installers installed the sink wrong and it cracked because it was leaning forward. After only 7 weeks! I would recommend hiring someone else for your countertop needs. The only reason we went with them is because they weren't 2 months out. Which makes sense because they do shoddy work. Wait for the real pros. You'll be much happier

Becky did an outstanding job of helping me pick out the different features, not an easy task considering all the decisions that have to be made in coordinating everything. The flooring itself looks great and was installed quickly. The finish work leaves a lot to be…read moredesired. Multiple trips were needed to get them to miter/cope a base shoe corner. (At first they said "nothing could be done") They don't finish the edges of the base shoe at all. There is different colored base shoe on the same wall. (Not stained the same or something) Where two pieces of shoe were needed they put the seams/short runs right next to the highest traffic areas instead of hiding them in a corner. The base shoe in the kitchen doesn't match the flooring, cabinets, or other base shoe in the house. There are large gaps under the door trim. In preliminary discussions they said they would "figure something out" to make it look nice. After they got paid it turned into nothing could be done. A vent was broken and they just reinstalled it with the freshly broken slat jammed behind the vent itself. A lot of small details adds up to a janky look. If you are looking for laborers to install flooring they will get the job done for a price but don't expect the fine details to look nice. There were also staples half hanging out on the stairs that my wife caught her finger on and had a bad time with. They also left the door to outside open a lot letting lots of cold air in. The longest time was probably 25 minutes total. I would not hire them again as attention to detail and quality is very important when you are talking about a transaction upwards of 15k.
