Beware they are strict on carry on weight no more than 12kg so weigh your bag before hand and make sure your liquids are in a clear bag. Also all electronics need to come out the bag during security. This is a busy airport I suggest you arrive at least 2-3hrs before your flight

This review includes Terminal 2F (I just flew out of there 3 wks ago) but is more representative of…read morethe entire CDG airport experience. Terminal 2F plays its part well among this total operation of dysfunction. CDG has to be one of the top 10 most ridiculously designed airports in the world. It is pretty much everything that a busy, high volume international hub airport should not be and if I were a descendant of Charles de Gaulle, I would petition for it to be named after someone else's family member. The first issue is that it tries to do way too much with much too little in terms of space and resources. I have flown millions of miles in my lifetime. I have never had a flight go into CDG that was not delayed at its origin in some fashion because of the air traffic congestion on the CDG end that causes it to be held on the ground before take off. What that results in is a late landing at CDG and forces a very tight connection if Paris is not your ultimate destination. This pressure on the traveler stressed to make a connection is the norm, not the exception here. That seems unacceptable in this modern day of travel. Second, once you land, trying to make the connection to another terminal is a long adventure. I mean that in the worst way possible. Keeping the nomenclature of the terminal you are trying to get to straight is difficult and the signage is less than clear in areas (I think they hired a cognitively impaired consultant to come up with the confusing terminal naming construct...Terminals 1-3 with Terminal 2 having separate areas labelled A-F) and none of them connecting without at least a 20 min walk. If you are really unlucky, your walk might be up to 45 min while navigating international connection security checkpoints. This also seems unacceptable by today's standards. Finally, the 1970's glass and steel design of the terminals is visually cool because of all the glass but only serves to amplify the fact that there is an insufficient AC system in play. The greenhouse heat ad humidity effect is real and you simply feel like an ant baking under a magnifying glass as you make the sweltering run to some far away connection terminal under duress. I'm sure the designer of this won some avant-garde award for it in their day. What they really needed was to be put out of our misery by a firing squad for such a dysfunctional greenhouse design. I don't think any of this can really be corrected with a remodel and I think it is as good as it is going to get given the space and existing buildings that they have to work with. Unless they tear it down and start over from the beginning, Paris CDG will remain a one of the worst large airports in the world.

This is going to be a long review, we warned. It was very disappointing. The kiosk was not working and we asked 13 separate workers, each one shrugged and sent us somewhere else. This happened until we missed our check in entirely, to no fault of our own. I have traveled internationally before and have never received such neglectful and apathetic "service", it was very disappointing. This was specific to Delta and Airfrance workers in the Terminal E, working on Monday September 29th, 2025, around 1PM-5PM. We were sent to folks in red vests who did not help with the payment issue. They shrugged and then then we were sent to Airfrance employees, who stated that our flight check-in was now closed, however, we were there earlier, but could not get help for our 1 bag, therefore we missed our check in entirely. We tried to get help for the next few hours, but were shrugged off many times, even when asking nicely in basic French, so it was not a language barrier, it seemed like pure apathy I have never seen before at an airport, and I travel often. Delta is usually much better, so I was very disappointed and sad about this. By hour 2 of no one getting us help, and being told there was no general information desk to get help, my friend was in tears. I then asked another attendant at delta check in for help, stating that we have been having a rough time, seeking any empathy, but just being told to get in a long line for possible help. At that point we were already going to miss our flight entirely, causing us to miss an extra day of work, which is pretty distressing. As we were standing in the line as a last resort to try to check our bags again, the signage changed from Delta to Kenmore Airlines. My friend was still in tears and at this point, as you can imagine, seeing that last bit of hope disappear was very defeating. We were exhausted and no one stepped up to help. We are two young women in a country where we do not know fluent French, but we tried to get help for hours, politely, planned ahead as much as we could, and were met with no empathy or urgency. On top of all of this, as I was getting drinks for my friend and I to help us calm down, I was hit on by an Airfrance employee, male, in his 40s-50s, and he also could not help. Terminal 2E was like the twilight zone, and the next day my friend and I got a new flight via my Delta app (no employee helped), and we left the airport with no checked bag. I'm still shocked at the lack of care, I usually don't write reviews, but this needed to be addressed. Seeing my friend upset like that and no empathy from anyone really made me not want to fly there ever again. If you've read this long, thank you. If you have no checked luggage you should be better off than we were. We want this to be addressed due to how genuinely distressing it was.

After you deplane you have to weave around and get to immigration where there are line 8 different lines but all people coming from different flights crowd around the same spot making it time consuming and frustrating to get to your right line. Then after a long wait from 30~60 minutes you then head down to get your luggage. Then figure your way out to the train or exit. This process took about 2 hours. Flying back I thought it was going to be something similar and after reading several reviews, it made it sound faster. We stayed close to T1 then boarded the tram to T2 E 2 1/2 hrs prior to boarding and once we found the entrance to immigration it took us about 20 minutes to get through then boarded the train to terminal M and then go through security and it was faster. Took us about 10 minutes and then we had plenty of time to stop by at the duty free where there are many options for lotions or perfumes and decent prices. We got to our gate probably 90 minutes prior to boarding. Now our flight departed on a Monday at 11am, so probably we beat the rush hour, but I have to say that it went smoothly compared to our arrival experience. If they had a way to improve the international arrival process, it would be 5 star experience. Enjoyed Paris and now heading back. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to come back and experience an improved arrival process. Bon Jour!

It is organization at it's most oddest way. b. Traffic Police - 1 star - Being a huge show, and tons of traffic, the police are out in force and guess what, they do not actually help the flow, but hinder it. I am not sure what they are doing here, but I think it has the opposite affect. c. The show - 2 star - Normally a great show, but will the budget cuts, the air display this year was very poor. d. The noise - This is an air display show. However, the noise is TREMENDOUS. Cannot even speak when a fighter jet is roaring 150 feet above you. Great show, traditional and great stuff to see. GK says always come to the Paris Air Show, but be careful of so many things.

Terminal 2B of the international Paris airport (named after the WWII general and later French…read moreleader) is mainly used by European flights for airlines like SAS, Finnair, and easyJet. I used it twice on my week long Paris trip, and found both instances to be OK. On night 1, took a 50 minute flight from Frankfurt, landing around 22:25 (about 5 hours after my original expected arrival time). A jet bridge was provided. Since we had arrived from another Schengen country, there was no immigration checks. My original plan was to take the train into Paris, but it was pretty late at night so decided to take a taxi. Good advice at any airport is to go directly to the official airport taxi spot, ignoring all the would-be good samaritans offering advice on official airport grounds. Some of them were quite good at being indignant about me ignoring them (i.e. 'look at me when I'm talking to you!'). The main issue I had is that the official taxi drivers weren't much better. The router at the cab station didn't really care (not asking me where I'm going), just telling me to go the next cab that pulled in. I told that driver where I was going, and he then started to go. I asked him what the rate would be, and he ignored me. I asked again, and this time he said he would tell me once on the road. I got angry and told him it needed to be a flat rate. This made him unhappy, and after a few moments put a flat rate of 56€ into the meter, which is the prescribed rate for the Right Bank (which is where I was going). The rest of the ride was done in silence. We got to the hotel, and he expected to be paid in cash. I insisted on a credit card, which he was not happy with. Next time I will just take an Uber for less cost and hassle. On night 7, I had a 90 minute flight to Copenhagen, where I intended to visit for a couple of days before flying back to LA. I took the train from Paris, and it did take a bit of meandering to get to Terminal 2B. Going through security was quick, and afterwards I had arrived airside without going through any sort of id check with boarding pass (which is what is typical at US airports). There wasn't much there in terms of food, so picked up some water from a vending machine ($3.04 converted). There weren't many flights leaving from our gate area, so there were plenty of seats to wait. Most seats had both USB-A and eletrical outlets to charge. Free Wi-fi was provided, just requiring any email address to register. Boarding was exactly on time, with announcements in Danish and English and we were airborne 13 minutes after we left the gate.
