TransVip on the other hand is an awesome service that takes the stress away and keeps the lukas in your pockets. They offer both shared Van transfers and private taxi transfers all for a set price. I can't tell you how many horror stories I've been told about people flying out of Santiago and paying double, triple, even four times what they should be paying. And that is all because they were not using a trusted service like TransVip. I always use them especially when I am coming from the Santiago airport. The only draw back is if you take one of their shared vans you might have to wait for other people to get dropped off on your way home. I would recommend anyone reading this to use Transfer Pampa instead. I have used both companies and interacted with customer service from both, and Transfer Pampa was far superior. The Transvip website does not allow for quick communication with reservations. In my experience I found the individuals I worked with at Transvip to be terribly inefficient and careless. It should be renamed transgarbage because this is how they treat customrts. It takes many days for them to respond to issues, and they are unwilling to support their customers with conflicts. When I had to make a change to my reservation, it was nearly impossible to get customer support. I changed to Transfer Pampa and had a much better experience. I would avoid Transvip at all costs on the future. read more

646/5000 I hired an exclusive service for 7 people (even though there were 5 of us) since we had 7 suitcases and 5 handbags. They sent a car with capacity for 5 people including the driver, so it was impossible to fit the 7 passengers plus the 7 suitcases, the 7 personal items and the 7 handbags mentioned on the transvip.cl page. They responded by saying that I was carrying too many suitcases so the error was on my side and they made me pay for two vehicles (The first they sent was too small to carry even 5 with suitcases) and the other one as support vehicle, which was a big one I hired in the first place. They lie and falsify the information so as not to recognize their mistake. Avoid this company! read more

This is seriously the best way to go to and from the airport. You can call ahead of time to get a transfer to pick you up from either your house or hotel. It costs about 6 mil per person (depending on where they pick you up from) which is less than half the price of taking a taxi to the airport. The only downside, is that sometimes they come a bit late so keep that in mind if you are in a rush. However, usually when reserving on the phone the person scheduling the trip will ask you when your flight leaves and will suggest a pick-up time so you don't miss check-in. I recommend this service if you are traveling alone as it is cheaper than a taxi but almost with the same service. The transfer usually only picks up a couple more people on the way (also important to keep in mind when scheduling your pick-up time). They stop on the way to the airport at the headquarters for you to pay - they accept both cash and cards! I also recommend them when leaving the airport as they are reliable and easy to access and run at all hours (as soon as you get out of baggage claim they are right behind the mob of taxi drivers) The only downfall with Transvip, is on the way back from the airport they wait to fill up or 15 minutes (whichever happens first) so it is very important to take a look at your clock from when you got in and if they haven't left after 15 minutes has passed let them know and they usually will leave (otherwise they will try to wait a bit longer to see if they can snag another passenger). Tip: If you know for sure you will be taking them, you can reserve your transfer ahead of time via their site and pay online and they will give you a discount! read more

Faites attention si vous prépayez par carte : leur fournisseur de paiement n'est pas fiable. J'ai réservé le 16 juin un aller taxi TRANSVIP le 17 juin à l'aéroport pour ma fille, et j'ai prépayé pour qu'elle n'ait pas en s'en soucier le jour même. Le prépaiement a été accepté, j'ai la facture. Le taxi s'est présenté à l'heure, j'ai accompagné ma fille jusqu'à la porte et il est parti. Un kilomètre après, il s'est arrêté pour demander le paiement. Elle lui a dit que c'était déjà payé, il est reparti et s'est arrêté en rase campagne en vue de l'aéroport, en lui disant qu'elle paie ou il la laissait là. Heureusement ma fille avait assez pour payer une deuxième fois. Comportement totalement non professionnel; j'ai écrit une réclamation, sans aucune réponse. Expérience très désagréable. read more
