They kept us posted when they ran into a little traffic enroute, worked with us on the estimate and worked extra hard when I initially underestimated how much stuff my mom had! They were efficient and worked very hard to finish the same day without extra help (it was my fault for underestimating how much help was needed). They were also careful as they cleared stuff out passing us anything that warranted an extra look and check for valuables. I would highly recommend them!

We went with Junk Luggers in Hicksville due to the promise of the house being completely cleaned out and a sweep out of all rooms. We had an in person estimate from Roman and another male individual they said this could be done in a day and would be complete. The company was supposed to be at my location on the next day at 1pm. The company did not call and I waited until 3:15pm for them to show up. They started removing debris and old home goods from the house for about 30min. They then came to me a lil before 4pm and said they won't be done in this day and will likely need a 1/4-1/2 of another truck and 1/2 the day tomorrow. I said ok since I signed an estimate with price. They then proceeded to tell me they could No longer honor their in person estimate. And wanted an additional $800. I said no way we had an in person estimate yesterday and this was a complete cleanup. We actually gave away approx 3-5sq yards of items to neighbors etc. This made it less stuff present from the initial estimate. Why give an in person estimate if you are not going to honor it. The problem here is this was being done for my family that some live out of state and were relying on the clean out and my price quote I emailed my family members. Long story a lil shorter. This company left about 5-8 big items over 8yards of items. None of the rooms got swept. And I had to remove items myself for my local garbage men to take. Still have 3 tables some draws etc I have to dismantle and put out. I think because I was a female Nurse who just got off a long overnight shift and was waiting there tired I was taken advantage of. What a crappy way to do Business. Find an Honest place for your clean out. I am soo upset with this whole transaction.
