They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and are located in the prime Surfers Paradise area. Parking is a bit limited but you can parking a block away in a structure that allows two hours free. Inside we were seated right away and given a menu. Bulgogi is the first thing that caught our attention so we ordered that right away. The bulgogi was good but the meat was a bit hard. Next we ordered the Kalbi. Which was INCREDIBLE! We got two more orders of it. The meat was so delicious and flavored perfectly. We were also given a bunch of sides that were included. We were welcomed quickly and helped through the menus in a friendly and efficient manner. Seated at the Teppanyaki bench we enjoyed the spectacle of the chefs while enjoying an excellent quality meal. We had the Murasaki Wave, tender meat and perfectly cooked seafood. While the kids had Chicken Teriyaki (best I have eaten). We all had the fried rice which was the main engagement piece with the chefs. Will go again and won't hesitate to recommend.

The main purpose of this restaurant is to come for the Teppanyaki experience. They were formerly a Benihana, however rebranded with the name Misono. The scoopon had a choice of set menu and unfortunately they didn't even allow any accommodations due to dietary restrictions. Definitely check the menu prior to buying the voucher. They also offer discount courses on Wednesdays and early-bird dining discounts every night if I'm not mistaken. During the course preparation we were entertained by the chef and his numerous tricks. Its always fun even if you've gone to other teppanyaki restaurants. Now one thing thats very distinct between Misono and Benihana is their portion size. Each item was MASSIVE! I could only eat half my meal and took the rest to go so I had a second meal the next day. Also they make you sign a waiver if you ask for a to-go box stating they aren't responsible for your food. Our waitress seemed hard to get ahold of at times and I was a bit disappointed I could not alter the food due to dietary reasons so I had to ask for one of my set menu items to not be included.
