Excellent establishment! Stopped in with clients on a business meeting. We had a large group and were well taken care of. We had a large variety of individual appetizers followed by an equally large variety of dining entrees. The wine was a local varietal which tasted wonderful to the palate, especially as it both breathed and warmed up. Waiter was especially good and knew the menus along with the cooking processes. Would recommend this to any one traveling through northern Italy as a must visit for dinner. read more

Every dish was well prepared and wonderfully presented. We had fried "porcini" (wild portobello mushrooms) with giant shrimp on top. Our dessert was "tris di marroni" (chestnuts trio): superb! Though the restaurant was packed, we didn't have to wait and were taken care of with a lot of attention by the owners, who are very passionate about it. I recommend this restaurant also for the great value for money! I'll certainly be back! read more

La nostra cucina è legata alla tradizione piemontese, alla quale ci accostiamo in modo innovativo, proponendoci di rielaborarne gli elementi più tipici in chiave creativa, ma senza stravolgere l'identità del piatto.

History

Established in 2009.

Il nostro è un progetto nuovo ma dalle radici profonde, che proviene dalla lunga esperienza della nostra famiglia nell'ambito della ristorazione. La nostra storia comincia nel 1973, con l'apertura del Ristorante e Albergo Panoramica, sulle colline di Loranzè (TO). Questa attività ci ha dato grandi soddisfazioni professionali, profondi ed importanti rapporti umani che ci accompagnano nel tragitto di questa nuova sfida. La Panoramica ricevette la Stella Michelin nel 1991, vinse il premio The Best Award Of Excellence per la carta dei vini da parte di Wine Spectator nel 1994 e fu presente con ottimi punteggi sulle migliori guide gastronomiche italiane e alcune internazionali. La Panoramica chiude nel 1999. Dopo un periodo di attività alterne, tra alcune consulenze e impieghi presso altri ristoranti, abbiamo maturato un nuovo progetto di ristorazione, che si è concretizzato nell' apertura del Simposio.

This is a local restaurant in the small town of Pavone…read more The atmosphere of the place is simple (we were the only tourists), the food we had was very good. We each ordered a pizza and it was delicious, with a very thin crust. Prices are moderate (although in the price range found in the region), both our pizzas were under $10. We also shared a pitcher of local rosé wine, perfect to go with our pizzas. I would not make a detour to have dinner there, but if you are in the area, this is a good place for a very reasonably priced and simple dinner.

Our appetizer dishes were all made with fresh seafood selections and cooked in unique and refreshing ways. The seafood pasta was well prepared and our seafood of the day was with baby clams.
