First of all, this place has a great name. Stop dwelling on the name of this restaurant. Secondly, the food is great, but service seemed slow. It could've been the night I was there, but the food took forever to come out. I think the chef arrived late to work or something. Either way, I had a good Italian dinner here and would recommend coming in.
My friends and I had some horse prepared in different ways and I think it was just alright. Beware their "horse hamburger" is just a meat patty, not a traditional burger in the American sense. I've had horse in South Korea and Japan and I remembering it tasting a lot better (basically a leaner steak). It could've been the marinade or something here. At any rate, it's worth a try if you've never had horse meat.
Everything else we got tasted fresh and and unique. I'd definitely come back to Fucularu, a popular gem in Catania! read more
