I have done multiple courses with this company - many of which were delivered by unenthusiastic and novice instructors who, while they are knowledgeable about the subject matter, lack the teaching skills to effectively engage their participants. Most recently, I registered for a course 4 days prior (with space) - on the day of I received an email indicating that the course was full and I was out of luck. If you need to re-certify, go with community centres that don't outsource to LIT!

To take standard first aid and CPR C I paid around $130 which is 30 bucks cheaper than what I saw on st. John's ambulance. Signing up for a class is super easy. You search the type of class you want and pick the location and date from what they have available. My class was supposed to be two days, but out of the 5 people that showed up only 2 of us were doing standard. So the teacher asked if we would be willing to stay late and finish it all up in one day. I mean of course! It was great to get it over and saved my Sunday. The teacher, Rita, was funny so learning the material was enjoyable! I definitely felt prepared for the test at the end. Definitely recommend if your looking to take a first aid class for the first time or update your first aid skills.
